  1. But i have seen J.R Swish walking off the court to say hello to Jason Terry which gave the bucks an easy dunk. What happened to him? Right. Nothing!
  2. bad decision...why do they give THJ the ball??? still can´t believe it! AND why the f*** are the coaches unable to create a good final play?? It´s so sad.. this year hawks piss me off..
  3. You can´t always criticize Dennis every time the hawks lose a game. He is definitely playing a great first saison as a starting pg. you should better blame our big men for not getting a f***** rebound!!! i mean, how many second chance did the pistons got? Even if they couldn´t make the second chance shots they often got fouled and made the easy 2 points. That´s a problem i thought we would have solved with signing dwight but he was totally off the court last night.. yesterday we had the same problems as last year. bad perimeter d, no rebounding. The offense didn´t look well but that´s not only because of dennis. the ballmovement was terrible but what could dennis do if his teammates give him the ball instantly back as if it was a hot potato...
  4. imo dennis didn´t play that bad as y´all say. He played awesome defense as usual. 1 to is also ok. He missed a few shots but he came in in the 4th and helped us a lot with his quickness and his hustle d. looking forward to wednesday! 4-0 or 5-0 incoming? :D :D
  5. That´s so annoying and it pisses me off when people repeat this bullshit that gets broadcasted by the f***in german media!! Since Dennis arrived in professional basketball and in the NBA german people and german media always hated him for everything he did. He couldnt do anything right because they just didn´t like him since the beginning of his career. You know why? Because he is not like Nowitzki and that´s sth i really like about this kid. He is not like all the other german athletes. They are too scared to say what they really think. They always talk in empty phrases but thats what the german media loves. Boring interviews but hey, they hear what they love to hear. Dennis is more offensive and he says it when he doesn´t like something. German people always want him to be a second Nowitzki even though Dennis told them that he and Dirk are incomparable. Who the f*** cares whether he drives golden cars or green cars??? How sad must be the life of the people who get upset because of that?? There are some sports websites where you can find normal reporting about Schröder but some are just horrible and they always try to put words in his mouth. Need an example? Dennis was asked about his future after the european championship last year. He said that he wants to become a starter in the future. German people and german media went wild and they were all like "oh how arrogant is this kid?" " He hasn´t achieved sth yet so why is he so conceited?" And then they wrote that he has said he wants to be a starter now/next season!! I think that his social media appearance is normal for a young adult who has grown up in this modern time. He always says that he is a familiar guy and family and friends are so important for him. He even visited his old school this offseason when his former teacher retired. Sometimes he invites people via social media to come to the Prinzenpark in Braunschweig (the place where he played basketball the first time ever) to meet him and to play basketball with him. Does that sound like an arrogant guy? I hope that Dennis will improve consistently and then he can give a f*** on the german media and the haters. It seems like Americans don´t care what they are doing off the court as long as they show a good performance on the court but some german people are silly and they always search something to criticize instead of being happy that we have a second talented german player in the nba after Nowitzki.
  6. No problem! :) I also wouldn´t have expected John Jenkins being his best friend. I´m really looking forward to the upcoming season. Will be interesting to see how he works as a starter.
  7. Dennis answered user questions via Facebook Chat at the Gamescom in Germany where Nba2k 17 was released. I tried to translate the interesting anwers but i apologize for my English in advance :D Q: How do you differ from Jeff Teague? DS: I´m more active in defense than Jeff. I always try to speed the game and to involve my teammates. It has always been a good balance between Jeff and me. When he went out i took over. Q:Who is your best friend in the NBA? DS: John Jenkins. He always helped me in my first two years and did everything for me. Unfortunately he plays in Phoenix now but he´s still my best friend. Q: Are you content with the offseason of the Hawks? DS: Absolutely. Last week i trained with them. They also came to Braunschweig twice. They look after their players and that´s sth everyone likes. Q: How was the contact with LBJ in the playoffs? DS: During the games you are opponents but when the series was over and they advanced to the CF he told me that i´m a great player. He told me to keep working hard and that I will be a starting PG soon. Fortunately, it happened now and i´m blessed to be here. Q: Would you rather be an All-Star or a role player in a championship team? DS: Both wouldn´t be bad but i´m rather a champion than allstar. Trying to help as a role player and having a big impact for the title is what distinguishes a team. Q: Do you miss your teammates of the german national team? DS: Of course i do. I´d have loved to play the qualification for the european championship but Atlanta told me that it´s gonna be difficult because i will see play more minutes next season as a starter. I have to be ready for it and healthy. I think everybody understood the decision and i´m thankful for the understanding by my german fans. Q: What has been your favourite trade this offseason? DS: It hasn´t been a trade but KD going to the Warriors was heavy. They already had three Allstars and now they have a fourth. I don´t know whether it is good for the NBA but it was his decision. Q: How hard was the series agains Boston, especially the games where you have been booed by the crowd? DS: Actually i like it when i get booed because it gives me extra motivation. I couldn´t understand why they did it because Isaiah Thomas has started it when he punched me in my face. But i understand that they stand behind their players. As long as it is tolerable it´s ok. Q: Which team do you love playing against? DS: Currently i love playing the Mavs because of Dirk Nowitzki. I deliberately involve him into the PnR to play against him. It is always a great duel. Q: Do you think that you can step into his footsteps one day? DS: I´m not Dirk Nowitzki. I´m Dennis. We are two different characters. You can´t compare apples and oranges. I´m a different type of player and we grew up differently. Of course i´m also german but you can´t compare everything. We all know him and his amazing career and i respect him but i´m not Dirk Nowitzki and i won´t try to be him. I will make my own way. Q: Are you looking forward to playing together with Dwight Howard? DS: Of course. It´s gonna be great. He´ll help us a lot in blocking shots, rebounding and helping our team´s development. Q: Who is more difficult to defend? - Curry or Westbrook? DS: Westbrook is hard to defend because he has no fear just like me. When he enters the court he doesn´t care who stands in front of him. His mindset is extremely good. Q: Where do you see yourself in five years? DS: Hopefully i will stay healthy. I´d like to make it to the ASG. It has to be my next goal as a starter now. Of course you wanna reach the NBA finals some day but that´s something you can´t promise. These are the most important goals for me. Q: Who is the best PG in the NBA? DS: Kyrie Irving. He has deservedly won the championship with the Cavs and he is a great player. Q: Who has been your strongest opponent? DS: Westbrook, John Wall, Damian Lillard. Every night you play against one of the best PGs in the world. It is always a challenge to be present every night and show your presence. It takes a lot of strength and because of that we decided that i won´t play in the national team this summer.
  8. We can look forward to lots of alley-oops next season!! :D
  9. Ohh thank you!!! Finally someone who has noticed that Dennis was goddamn tired. Don´t forget that he played such an intensive defense against probably the best PG of th EC
  10. Don´t forget that Sap has missed so many clutch/ last shots in the RS!! I think that had a big influence on Bud´s decision!
  11. Hopefully the hawks fans will give this little gnome with the silly headband an appropiate welcome tonight after his slap against Dennis in game 3 and the continuos boos from the crowd in game 4! Let´s go Hawks!
  12. what?? :D good game? 0 points 3 assists in 15 minutes? thats what you call a good game??
