I'm not saying he's Giannis but he's Giannis like IMO. Appears to be very raw but his quickness and athletic ability stands out. He has a nice touch. I hope he's coachable, determined and has a relentless work ethic like Giannis. Wow what a find.

Sad to see Nate go but watching this team on offense was like watching wet paint dry. My top 3 candidates are:
1.) Ime Udoka
2.) Jeff Van Gundy
3.) Mark D'Antonio
This is the perfect excuse for Trae to want out. I hope I'm wrong.

I can almost get two Capelas for the price of one Ben Simmons. No thanks, the Nets can keep Ben.

Supes, I believe Golden State has the best offer if they throw in Moody or Kuminga.
-
Guys I hate to say it but Ben Simmons is broken mentally and physically. I don't think he enjoys the game only the status.

We don't have enough assets to get KD but if we willing to trade a lot which is dumb, it might as well be for KD. Our options are limited af anyway.
I ageee Supes. I'm sure any offer would definitely include John Collins, Bogo, and Okongwo or A.J. or both.

Wow, KD got a raw deal. He signed with Brooklyn on the premise of having a big 3 of him, Kyrie, and James Harden. Now, less than 3 years later, he's left with a broken Ben Simmons and Spencer Dinwiddie. Does KD have a right to want out as well, even though he has 2/3 years left on his deal? Sitting out isn't an option IMO because KD loves playing the game. Does KD have any leverage at this point? I'm hoping he gets out before the deadline but it doesn't look good. Thoughts?

Those are the simple facts. He got raw stats that look good and literally nothing else.
As for disrespecting Trae, how are you a Hawks fan and you don't know how to spell his name?
Shakes you got me. I call it being under the influence of sleep. You're right it's Trae, not Tray.

Somebody continues to go in and rob the bank with no mask on in broad daylight. Tray Young gets robbed again. For everything you can accuse Tray Young of being or doing. The simple fact is the man is averaging 27pts. and 10 dimes a game in a struggling year for him shooting wise. I saw the fix coming months ago when people were raving like Haliburton was the second coming of our Lord, thy God. This man is an Allstar regardless of what people think. These same coaches and players who continue to disrespect Tray would be the first in line if he was on the trading block. This kinda reminds me of how the league disrespected Joe Johnson by saying he was such an albatross (ball stopper with our Hawks) but then going crazy when he was traded to Brooklyn. All they could say was how they were excited to see Deron Williams team up with another superstar guard. JSMH at this bullsheesh.

My three choices are:
1.) Udoka
2.) Jeff Gundy
3.) D'Antonio

It wasn't pretty but I'd take the 2-2 West coast road trip any day. That Golden State game still hurts me though.

We need to find the person who put the roots on this team. IMO it started with:
1.) Nate bringing in his own people in. Joe Prunty and the son.
2.) Letting Chris Jent, your top assistant, offensive coach, shooting coach, player developer, leave for a lateral position.
3.)Injuries: Yes, I know injuries are apart of the game but dang.
4.) Somebody is dry switching and it needs to stop. You have to get ahead of these things beforehand, even if most of the news we're hearing is probably not true.
5.) History has shown that when Nate is running the show/offense, it's like watching wet paint dry. Defense is important but it doesn't matter if you can't put the ball in the basket and we can't keep people out of the lane, and know the problem on defense is not just Trae.
This season can be salvaged but unfortunately it will take everbody getting healthy, and we just know some guys just can't stay off the shelf. You know who they are so I don't have to call their names.
TRW out.

1. Staying relative healthy
2. Ironically, 3pt. perimeter shooting
3. Get John Collins more touches early

I've been saying this for the last 3 years. Trae is better than Ja, and equal to Luka in my opinion. All three are terrible on defense but you don't hear BSPN trash Luka and Ja about their defense. SMH.

Absolutely. Joe Johnson was my favorite player after Dominique. Until that #11 showed up. I still don't know why Joe Johnson isn't on the all-time hawks team. I've never seen him on 2k either. I wonder if he asked not to be on the game.

I believe the NBA is a different league than in the past but I had no problem with KD signing with the Golden St. Warriors. KD completed his contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder and became a free agent. I will say it again, KD honored his contract and then became a free man. As a free man, he had the right to sign with any team he wanted. I find it funny and hypocritical that people blame KD for going to a stacked team when the so called "King" has/had stacked teams since he left the Cavaliers the first time. I don't see the LeBron hate that KD gets but IMO they're very similar. Now as we fast forward, everybody wants to criticize KD again for wanting to leave Brooklyn. I'm not saying KD is right this time but James Harden did the same thing twice within the last two or three years and I didn't see many people criticizing him. In Houston, "the Beard" said "he couldn't play with a bunch of losers." James Harden divorced Houston and Brooklyn. So LeBron James and James Harden get a pass but KD doesn't get the same courtesy. JSMH at this hypocrisy.

His reached stretched farther than the NBA. A true humanitarian. He was one of the greatest human beings of all-time. I will always remember his laugh, sense of humor, and the awe and respect he got from other people. That says a lot about a person.

Kg01, I definitely respect everyone's opinion on this board even if I don't agree with them but any person who suggests that John Collins should be the 6th man on this team needs prayer.

Bogi is getting ready. I can see that six man of the year trophy coming to the "A".

I will forever be a fan of Kevin Huerter but we had to be realistic. We couldn't keep him and Bogi after the trade for Dejounte Murray. We can't be paying the 4th guard in our rotation over 15 million a year. Although it hurts, I believe trading Red Velvet for Holiday, Harkless, and a protected 1st just made too much financial sense. I also believe a healthy Bogi is an extraordinary offensive player, an upgrade over Red Velvet and decent defensive player.

PF Markieff Morris
He is 6-9 and would bring toughness and outside shooting. Solid defense and hopefully rebounding.

Does anybody remember what our beloved Steve Smith said when he was playing with the Spurs at the end of his career? Smitty said Jamal Crawford dribbled the ball between his legs and left him standing there on the baseline as he went toward the basket and scored. Smitty then said he looked toward the bench and Bernie Bickerstaff said it's time Smitty.

We'll see a difference but not sure how much considering our offense might become less productive.

An astute businessman. I don't agree with his methods of doing business at times but I surely appreciate this man. Sometimes I think we forget how terrible our ownership was after Ted Turner. Hopefully, he has learned from his mistakes.
