I can see Dallas or Memphis being really high on Bagley. Ayton to Phoenix is a lock.. I don't see Jackson going over him though.
Scouts love Jacksons defensive analytics though.

Because there is a difference in how much the Nuggets can offer him. Denver can offer him a 5 year deal worth more money per year. If they extend him now, that deal will only be for 4 years and less money.
No

Can every team offer Jokic a 5 year max deal, or just the Nuggets?
Just the nuggets I don’t get what that has to do with signing now or a year from now

Do the Nuggets hold his Bird Rights if he becomes an unrestricted free agent?
Yes but why wait to make the money you want to be younger when you sign your second contract so Jokic has every incentive to get the money now unless he wants out.

Name them.
I do think it is conspicuously interesting that Mark Fox is still available after he was rumored to be in for the CSU job and nothing has come out since he traveled with the Hawks.
Want to make a bet the Hwks don't hire Mark Fox lol.

Send him to Minnesota for a lottery protected 1st next year, and their 2nd rdr this year#48(take Shake MIlton there)..He can hook back up with Teague( or they can move Jeffs sorry ass). Meanwhile it gives us another year of watching the Wolves fight for the Playoffs. THat was kinda fun. lol.
JUst for shit and giggles(and because Im bored) hows this:
#4 Bamba/JJJ(we need a BIG w upside. (Bye PLumlee)
#18 Robert Williams(See ya Moose/Cavanaugh)
#30 Landry Shamet(Dennis' replacement. High IQ player. Can also play the 2)
#33 Keita Bates-Diop(could always use another wing with upside)
#48 Shake MIlton(It was nice knowing you Delaney)
Shamet/Taylor/Milton
Baze/Dorsey/Shamet
Prince/Bembry/Bates-Diop
Collins/Williams
DEdmon/Bamba/Williams
THen draft starting SG to replace Baze and backup center for Bamba in rd 2 (2019)...(wed possibly have 2 more lottery picks next year after the dennis trade. Take BPA there.). Even if you dont like this mock, you have to admit, we have OPTIONS now.....We'll be good again before you knowit...........TRust the process. lol
I highly doubt the hawks make 5 (or even 4) picks. IF they do at least 1 will be an overseas stash imo.

Who can offer Jokic more money next summer?
nobody but we have seen FA demand out due to teams trying to be cheap. We have also seen players get injured which make you wonder why Jokic who you said could be all NBA 3rd team would wait to get his money.
-
Lol so why would Jokic then stay if some team like the Celtics call him up to replace Horford that'll be tough negotiating when we have seen people take less to compete for a championship. If I'm the Nuggets you gotta lock him up while he is a RFA if he leaves you just lost the best player you have had since Melo. The Nuggets owner is cheap he isn't going to bring Barton back it's pretty well known around the league. He also said he will only sign with teams that will start him.

Trade went down in 2013 for a 2015 unprotected 1st. The pick ended up conveying in 2015 at #28 (R.J. Hunter).
Who now plays (sits on the bench) for the rockets.

Not trying ...just trying to figure out Schlenk. So far he doesn’t seem like warriors/spurs type that most of us thought he was
Saying Schlenk is "letting Bud go" is kinda wrong imo. If Bud leaves it is because of the rebuild that Ressler wanted because he obviously hired Schlenk. So yeah I kinda figured Bud would be gone sooner or later after he lost the president title how many coaches ever have lost that and been the coach long term.

You have to spend 90% of the cap regardless. Long bad contracts kill you. Well have 5 + players on rookie deals the next two years. To get Carter Jr, Bamba, or Mikal bridges I think 9 is where you need to be. One of them will fall. 14 ain't going to get it done. You can get Williams there, but you need an elite shooting scorer like Harden to make him effective like Capella. With our poor shooting teams will sag off Dennis and Baze and take him out of the game. We saw this happen to Collins all year. Collins and Williams is a great defensive and rebounding pairing, but not ideal offensively.
14 can be Knox, Gilgeous, Miles Bridges, Lonnie Walker, Robert Williams, etc all of whom I like

I actually think taking on 2 years or less bad contracts is a, way to shorten the rebuild significantly. The bad contacts will come off the books right when you need to pay Taurean etc.
For example I want Ayton but if we pick 3rd, 4th or 5th he won't be there. We could take Doncic or Porter Jr and take on the last two years of Noah's contract for the Knicks pick and draft Collins perfect running mate Wendel Carter Jr at 9. Or take 2 years of Marvin Williams get Charlotte 11 pick. I need someone I like to be there though.
Which is why I was focused on Faried in a hypothetical trade with Denver.

The last season in his contract will be the Qualifying Offer. He can refuse to sign the big money extension with the Suns next summer, and instead take the QO for the 2019 - 20 season, making him an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2020. If he does that, Phoenix loses him for nothing . . and they know that.
So if he makes a lot of noise about being unhappy next season, Phoenix can deal Booker to another team, and possibly get something back from him.
Everyone is taking what he said differnt than what he meant I think lol. He said Booker's goal is "turning the franchise around and getting it back how it used to be." "You watch the highlights of [Charles] Barkley, [Steve] Nash and them and how alive the arena was," Booker said. "So, one of my goals is to get it back that way." How many times in NBA history has what you said happened...

Anybody seen Devin Booker's rant. That's what losing does to a player. If Phoenix doesn't make a significant move to be a competitive team, Devin is going to force his way out of Phoenix.
Once that happens, then what for Phoenix?
Lmao force his way out byyyyyy... he is there for AT LEAST 2 more seasons and if not they can trade him for a kings ransom because he is locked down by UFA to whoever he is traded to so there is more value there. Booker also said "turning the franchise around and getting it back how it used to be." "You watch the highlights of [Charles] Barkley, [Steve] Nash and them and how alive the arena was," Booker said. "So, one of my goals is to get it back that way."

That's a pretty horrible deal. The 18 and 30 for the 14 is a good value if Denver wants to take it. But add bad contracts in the mix, oh my. Not a deal I would expect a decent GM to make. Not even Billy King
That said, I get where Davis is going. But I would do that deal if I could add Miles Plumlee to the deal. That would be a good value
Moving up is very expensive you underrate how difficult it is it'll take that type of ammo to move up imo maybe we can take Marvin to move up to 11 in a similar move with Charlotte. But my example is if for example lets say Knox falls to 14 and the hawks have him graded in the top 10 and know that he will not be there at 18 or 19 so we take on Faried for that opportunity I'd love the aggressiveness. Faried > Plumlee. Faried's contract is only 2 yrs and the hawks could hypothetically move on next year as it would be an expiring deal at 13 mill which isn't to bad compared to some bad contracts out there.

Yup reading between the lines that’s exactly what he means but the draft picks could very well be for this year or future drafts....which kinda makes it less exciting but I’m with you man ...if you can get one of the Bridges by taking on a bad salary to move up it’s a no brainer
one can only hope we get that lucky as well as getting the number 1 pick.
I’m hoping for a trade with Denver for 14 and either Plumlee or Faried for 18 and 30 that would be cool with me and Denver has to extend Jokic.

A lot of numbers say what hes doing hasn't been done yet by a freshman.
I like Bagley a lot and he is #4 for me but if he comes into the league averaging 21ppg 11 rpg and 2+ bpg that would be unbelievable especially in this era. I’m playing the odds in saying he won’t match a top 10 player ever but would love to see you right especially if the hawks land him which is very possible.

This is the easy money ever if I knew what team each player will play for. Marvin shot 42% from three. 84% FT.
LMAO a rookie hasn't averaged 20 ppg since 2010 easy money my ass.(besides mitchell this year)

I'm a big believer in Bagley, so depending on where he goes... maybe he could get close IMO. But I wouldn't bet on it, that's asking a lot. I do believe he's the best offensive prospect in the draft, I've said it before and I'll say it again damn it. And JJJ is the Stanley Johnson of this draft, while I'm saying shit that comes into my brain.
So you think Bagley can be in a better position than for example Lillard in portland, Kyrie in Cleveland and Wiggins in Minnesota all of whom averaged less than 20.
Would the franchise be better served if Schlenk just goes ahead and hires his own guy to coach?

And we would still tank because that’s what Ressler wants
