Seeing this many Lakers jerseys and the chants of "MVP! MVP!" while Lebron is at the foul line in State Farm Arena is about to make me puke.

Oof, we're getting prime Bron tonight.

Jalen's stroke looks good and he's not rushing his shot... but man, he can't hit a jump shot to save his life tonight.

Now Jalen is afraid to shoot wide open 3s.
Shoot the damn ball Trae
Agreed. If you've lost your confidence out there, your butt is gonna be put on the bench. I know his 3-ball hasn't been falling, but you absolutely have to believe that you'll hit your next one.

I've muted the NBATV broadcast. What's the radio station that carries our games? Can I pick it up online?
I might be right behind you. This broadcast is insufferable. If I have to hear about them complaining about Trae getting bogus fouls because he's jumping "backwards" into the defender on a drive, when he's very clearly going straight up, I might scream.

There you go Jalen. Way to play that passing lane.
He's having a big 1st half.
Why in the hell was he taken out of the rotation again?? Dude can ball.

They want to do a proper coaching search. Fields wants to get his first HC hire right. Ressler will 100% be heavily involved in this as well. After the bickering between Nate and Trae (it is uglier than the Hawks let on) they need to find a coach that can work better with Trae. You'll see retread coaches being talked about but they also want to talk to assistant coaches that can't really do anything during the season.
It's a damn shame we're basically punting on this season then if that's the case, because we're seeing the effect a new voice can have mid-season on a basketball team right now with the Nets, and obviously with our own Hawks a couple of seasons ago. I think kg or whoever it was that brought up the conspiracy theory about Nate hiring an incompetent staff for his own job security might have been dead on, lol. We would definitely have to go outside the organization to even have a chance at finding an interim coach that could turn this thing around this year. But in the long run, I do suppose waiting until after the season to make a coaching switch makes the most sense, because if you bring in someone from outside the organization, they're going to want a long-term commitment, and you don't want to rush that kind of decision.

So I'm assuming if Nate resigns, then the rest of his contract is terminated and the Hawks owe him nothing else financially, correct? However, if he's fired, then the Hawks are still on the hook for the rest of the contract. I mean, that sounds like a lot of money at stake to me, especially for an owner that appears to be more concerned with turning a profit than winning at all costs. It kinda feels like we have a game of chicken here between Nate and Ressler.

Somebody have Glen's number they can slip to Landry? Everything I've ever seen this guy tweet would make me a lot more confident in him as our coach than what Nate has shown time and time again.

Kessler Edwards is out there too. Shot 35% from 3 last year and played good defense for the Nets.
Both solid, cheap options to fill that Dieng role

Mark Jackson is Nate McMillan version 2.0 in my opinion.
