Agree his performance was elite, and will probably continue to be for next season. I just worry about his regression whenever it comes. He's a 33/34 year old 7 footer with an Achilles injury. Worries me a lot to have to think about his decline after giving up all the assets we'd have to for him. But I do also love rolling the dice lol, so even if we trade everything and manage to win a championship it's obviously very worth it. Just don't know if we'd be contenders after gutting our team.

To be fair, KD is past his prime at this point and getting up there in age. He may play at a high level for the duration of his contract, but it feels too risky. Get Murray, get Ayton/Gobert and lets run it. That keeps us in contender status without necessarily mortgaging our future. KD is wonderful, but there are other, likely better, paths to winning.

I really don't see anything topping that package the Clippers sent to OKC for Paul George tbh, and if that's the type of package we need to get KD, I think we balk. Reminder on what that Paul George trade took: SGA Gallo 5 FRP 2 pick swaps I hope we don't leverage nearly the next decade for KD regardless of how good he is. He's already 33, turning 34 in September. His age/injuries concern me heavily..
