who cares about Jefferson? Let's just get a future first and an expiring contract. Is that too much to ask? It gotten to the point where other teams seem to think they're doing the hawks a favor by taking walker. I don't think a future 1st is too much to ask for when we're talking about a legit 2nd or 3rd scorer and a solid rebounder who's contract is up. It seems like teams were lining up for rasheed last year, we couldn't even keep him around for more than one game. But it's starting to look like we might be forced to let Walker go withouyt getting anything.

Probobaly only on his not so triumphant return to Boston. The number I used was mainly comparing the difference in the last 2 games.My point is that I wish the rest of the team would be a little more consistent so Walker could take aound 13-15 shots every game.

Walker had a very good game. This is what happens when he's smart about shot selection, and doesn't try to do everything himself. I don't see what's wrong with critisizing Walker for the awful game against boston, especially since he was even harder on himself about his performance. Get over it guys. Remember I was a Hawks fan before Walker and I'll be a Hawks fan after Walker. btw, whats up with Royal? He's been awful since coming back from that injury.

I don't blame him for the losses, but the fact is we're a lotto team with him and we'll be a lotto team without him. Personally I'd rather see us lose with chill, smoove and harrington at 2,3, and 4. Then we can address point and center through the draft and FA. If Walker wants to sign for the mle or something, then I'll welcome him back and hope the pieces around him develop enough to make him less of a focus. Also after a loss I tend to focus on why we lost, not who had a nice game. I really don't hate Walker, in fact I really like him, and he's a one of the most entertaining players the hawks have ever had. His overall game drives me crazy though and like I said, with or without him, we're going to be bad for a little while.

Why would I post here and watch every Hawks game if I'm a Celtics fan? I love the HAwks but I'm not gonna lie and say that they're any good right now. Why is it ok to constantly critisize collier, diaw, and anderson, but Walker is off limits? When Walker has a good game I acknowledge it, especially if the team wins, but last nite he was terrible. haha. Sorry Mr. Tip, I was totally unaware that not being a Walker fan makes me a celtics fan. Just for future reference I'm a Hawks fan. Walker's stats look good if you ignore the shooting. But honestly how many chip shot baskets did he miss tonite? not to mention the free throw shooting of Walker and his front court mate. Lots of bad passes and poor decisoins too. Walker has skills but he's not a great player.

But if it makes you feel better to think that everyone who doesn't worship Walker, is a "celtic troll" then go ahead. I am a big hawks fan, I mean BIG. Watching the celtics game I was screaming at my television at the way WAlker was playing. Aquiring Antoine Walker in his walk year was a good move financially, but keeping him around is definitely not a good move for this franchise.

did anybody see him just throw up that prayer on the 1 on 2 break? I don't know what the guy's thinking sometimes. It seems like he's constantly trying to prove something: refusing to pass out of double teams, taking crazy fade aways etc.

THe Hawks will never be a condender with Antoine Walker as the #1 option.
