I'd take Glenn Robinson's expiring contract(i think its expiring), Kyle Korver and a 2nd rounder. That sounds fair. Maybe throw in delk or barry.That kind of deal is about as good as I expect but I hope I'm undervaluing Walker's value around the league. If Walker's trade value is as good as you people think I guess Philly could add Dalembert. That would be great. After all, I think most teams would much rather have Rasheed Wallace than Walker and all we got for him was a mid 1st and a bunch of expiring contracts that never saw the end of the bench in detroit. It turned out good with the hawks getting Josh Smith but at the time it didn't seem like we were getting much.

Shaq is good and very strong but I know peja is good at the abilities in more ways than shaq and I do not always see him stay at the basket as shaq is. GO PEJA!!!

yea there was one sequence where he clearly altered 2 shots but it didn't look like he got his hands on either shot.

The Hawks don't have to make a decison on Harrington right now he's not a free agent. Walker is. The Hawks are giving 3 rookies heavy minutes whats the point of keeping around an overpaid guy like Walker.

The more Josh Smith plays the more clear it is that the kid has absolutely no offensive skills right now, as far as ball handling and creating. His athleticism and hustle alone makes it worth giving him minutes on a bad team though.

Check the thread title, guys. Walker wants out. If you can't keep him and his trade value is low, get a mid 1st round pick and be happy. That's what we did last year and we have josh smith to show for it. I'd rather have josh smith than Dalembert who can't even start for the sixers or some 3rd string point gaurd anyway. And Iguduola isn't happening unles stheir GM is a moron. They aren't going anywhere with or without walker.

Ha. If the Sixers give up Igudola for Walker, they better win the championship or the Sixers fans might burn down the GM's house. Most fans aren't crazy about giving up their future to rent a player who was burried on the Mav's bench last year.

wow i have too much free time. In their careers Kidd's made about 33% of his 3's while Williams has made about 31%. Neither one is a great 3 point shooter, neither is terrible. That's why Long's comment didn't make sense. No big deal though.

Ok you're right. Despite the statistical evidence that proves otherwise and Kidd's long history of clutch shooting, I'll go with Grant Long on this one because he did play with Eric Williams in Boston. My bad. Sorry I said anything.

As much as I like Walker, I don't see the Hawks getting more than a mid first rounder,and/or maybe a young project type player. He's a free agent plus I would think that anyone interested will be contending for the playoffs, therefore most likely lacking a lottery pick.Not to mention the Hawks probobaly won't have a lot of leverege if Walker is saying he wants to leave. I'd be happy to get a mid first rounder in lieu of watching Walker walk after the year. If the Hawks can get more, great, but don't expect it.

Williams hit like 2 three pointers. Plus He's still ERIC WILLIAMs and jason Kidd is Jason Kidd. I'd rather let ERIC WILLIAMS beat me all day than give Kidd good looks from anywhere.

I'm willing to give this guy a chance to get better cause he was one of my favorite players and he's a good guy, but he's making me miss the stinger more and more. I think his biggest problem is not thinking before he makes a comment. Tonite he actually said something like "jason kidd is not a strong perimeter player you can't let Eric Williams beat you on the perimeter you need to take your chances with Kidd" He actually had the audacity to say the hawks should give ERIC WILLIAMS more respect on the perimeter than Jason Kidd! Crazy. Not that Kidd is the greatest 3 point shooter ever but we're talking about Eric Williams here! Come on Grant.
