  1. He doesn't have that spring in his step anymore and looks stiff overall out there. He doesn't drive like he used to and is moving like an old man. I don't think that it is lost on him that he is getting the rep as an oft injured player and that can cause him some money in contract negotiations.

  2. You just have to admit that the East simply got better than what anyone anticipated. I am looking at the standings and it's no lock that we can beat any of the teams that are currently above us in a 7 game series. Can we beat many of them yes we can but it's no forgone conclusion. I know that we have had issues staying healthy and that should be taken into consideration but this is not the same east from last year. I have said it before and  I will say it again if we wouldn't have made the playoffs last year this team would probably look a lot different than it does now. Not being a homer but I honestly believe that if we would have been fully healthy last year we would have won the NBA championship without a doubt. But that was last year.

  3. No Trae last night and JC was still the 3 or 4th best player on the floor for us last night. He has not proven that he can be the man when Trae is out.  Not knocking JC at all but he is what he is.  He does what he does well but it is still limited. Hunter been gone forever comes back and is instantly the 2nd best player on the team. Last night could have been JC's night but Huerter was the one who stepped up. This is why JC's name is on the block. Honestly if we didn't have that run last year he may not have been back this season.

Haven’t really seen anybody try to explain why. I wasn’t alive at the time, but the way my father, who was a huge Atlanta sports fan and lived in the city from like 85-2007, explained it was as follows:

Deion and Nique both wore no. 21 and we’re by far the most famous athletes in Atlanta at the time. They opened a nightclub together, Club 21. This lawyer, Fred Tokars, worked with Nique, Deion, and Club 21. Doing what, I’m not so sure, but my dad said he ran the nightclub.

This Tokars guy did some wack shit, racketeering, cocaine deals, but namely having his his wife murdered. When he got arrested, they were going to have Deion and Nique testify, due to the connection. His trial started in February of 94, Deion left Atlanta in free agency in early 94, and Nique was traded in early 94.

My father claimed they were kind of forced to leave/be traded, because Tokars had left a dirty taste in everyone’s mouth, and made everybody question whether Nique and Deion were involved. So the teams let the two players leave, so nobody would question if the teams were keeping sketchy players around.

I can’t find any concrete proof to this story, but I chose to believe it because it lessens the pain of Deion and Nique leaving Atlanta.

I have never heard this before but it kind of makes sense. I remember the case well.

How good is Collin Sextons offball game?  I know he can score pretty well in general but im not sure if thats mostly ball in his hand non stop like Trae or can he get his points off the ball as well and then take over some of the playmaking on ball when Trae is out of the game.   Also hos is his defense in general i don't know a super ton about him.

Sexton was reportedly a cancer in the locker room and played selfish on the court. Alot of his teammates didn't like him. They became a really good team after he got hurt. That is what I read in various places. He was on the block prior to his injury and he is definitely on the block now for sure.

Everybody could see the progression of a young Kevin Knox where he wasn’t really a defensive liability.

His dad needs to sit his ass down somewhere especially after that comment. I hope he didn't quit his job at the sizzler.

If we somehow get Simmons I’m hoping we are sure to keep collins because in my whole point of view Simmons should help get Collins more shots.

collins is efficient enough to where he’s earned the need of plays ran for him and just more looks period! Also to me Trae is the only person on the team that can deliver an actual good pass to collins and find him when he’s open or has a good mismatch.

if we get Simmons to also be a playmaker to setup collins …..man oh man! I believe we will see a side of JC we haven’t seen before!

JC don’t need to be a shot creator if we have Trae and Simmons….JC just need to be a efficient shot maker! So offensively that’s what excites me about a trio of Trae, JC, Simmons….Simmons would also easily be our best open court player and he converts in the open court like a star should.

lots of benefits having Simmons once you get past his shooting flaws.

what would the starting lineup look like?

All this speculation about KAT... I have to ask...

Why would Minny entertain trading KAT?

Minny is 20-20.. 8th in the West.  They don't suck anymore.  They got Antman who is crushing the league in his first year and KAT is his sidekick...

Why would they entertain trading him now.  He's finally living up to his potential.

    Somebody explain it to me.

That is the same question I have. It doesn't make any sense unless he wants out. They are finally looking decent.
