The Philadelphia 76ers have begun to attach Tobias Harris to their trade discussions of Ben Simmons, according to Brian Windhorst and Marc J. Spears of ESPN.

Harris signed a five-year, $180 million deal with the 76ers during the 2019 offseason.

"I'm hearing they want to include Tobias Harris," said Spears of Philadelphia's trade talks with the Atlanta Hawks.

    "Me too," replied Windhorst.

"That is the word out there because they can't necessarily get an All-Star they want in return right now, as the Sixers have continued their talks, they've talked to teams about trading Tobias and Ben."

Spears also reported that the Hawks had interest in a trade for Simmons until the 76ers broached the possibility of including Harris.

Windhorst reported that some executives have speculated that offloading the money of Simmons and Harris could pave the way for the 76ers to pursue James Harden in free agency.https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/265407/76ers-Trying-To-Include-Tobias-Harris-In-Trade-Of-Ben-Simmons

Hell no we do this right? Harris is overpaid like a mf.

  2. Too many times this season where JC was should have been the best/2nd player on the floor he wasn't. He consistently gets outplayed by hustle guys. Some thought should have been given as to how much better he was going to get as a player and would that work for us. He didn't play particularly well in the playoffs last season. It was other guys that stepped up when Trae was out or having a bad game. Dude hasn't really improved in a few years and if what we have now is a finished product--can we work with it?  I am not saying that is a bum or anything but I just don't see much growth left. We see the growth potential still apparent with Huerter, Cam, Big O and to a degree with Hunter.

  3. I know that he isn't the best in the world but he has a offensive post game. Again we get in trouble getting into these shoot outs then going cold. Last night we could have held the lead longer if we have someone who can get points in the paint. That is where Okafor would have came in. In today's NBA 15-20 point leads are nothing because of the shoot out style of play. We don't need every player on our team chucking 3's most of the time. We need the option to slow things down and feed the post. That is what Okafor excels at and would be more consistent than John or Clint. Dieng has damn near turned into a perimeter player. We don't need another one of those. We need options on how we can execute.

  4. The team that is scariest to me is the Golden State Warriors. They got the pieces already intact to win a championship but what is scary is that they have the pieces to go out and get another superstar. The rumors are that they are trying to get Lillard or Beal. Scary folks.

If you equate big numbers to big contract, I understand your point, but if you are talking efficiency and team work John is elite.

This is what I am referring too the numbers. You don't get paid because you might can do something but rather for actually doing something.

  6. Come on fellas. When Trae was out in the ECF John didn't step up at all. he didn't drop 30 and grab 15. He put up good numbers when we were on a bad team. Even when he was playing well I had him behind Hunter and Trae. I would live to keep him but he is no where near a max player. Too many nights where he was suppose to be the best player on the floor but he wasn't.
