Watching tonight's game it seems like Kwame has lots of potential. My beef with him is that he doesn't seem to try very hard. He didn't run up and down the court very hard and didn't really put too much effort in establishing himself in the post. In his defense washington shows no love to it's post players. Plenty of times he called for the ball in the post and never received it. I don't feel right judging him based on the game tonight because the wizards are soooooo guard happy. He does have a few nice post moves a la Jermain O'neal. He really doesn't seem to a natural at rebounding as he was hardly ever in the right place at the right time and didn't really fight for position.
He did a good job of passing out of the double team. At first I didn't understand why the Hawks were doubling him but then it dawned on me they were doing it to evaluate his talent during the game. I think Mike Woodson will get more effort from him if he gets more touches in the offense as a reward and the fact that Mike Woodson will ride his ass if he doesn't try.
In my opinion he is worth getting because of his potential but he shouldn't be our number one choice as a big man. Would be nice in combination with Dalembert, Chandler, etc. if we get one of those players FIRST.
We get the chance to see Chandler/Curry Monday and Bogut tomorrow.
