  1. Hopefully the court decision on Tuesday bares that out. Belkin is only acting in the best interest of his no longer secret identity, Captain Peckerhead, not the Atlanta Hawks or the NBA. At least cheap skate Donald Sterling is 100% majority owner of the forever woeful Clippers. The Pricked One, if given a chance will line his own pockets while peddling an imitation team from his pearch up in Boston. He'd also let the young talent go as soon as their contracts where up. His ridiculous non-competitive 32m cap say's everything you need to know about this d*ck.
  2. MrHonline Quote: IMO, it has nothing to do with the picks... Exactly... There are definately other, probably self serving motives from Belkin but the picks are a rouse.

    What a mess!

chillzat Quote: Belkin becomes a pariah in teh city of Atlanta. He already is
  4. The ASLLC has got to get in full irradication mode. You obvioulsy have a broken arrow in wingnut Belkin. They should have beat him to the punch in court, no excuses. This guy is a cancer and has got to be cut out. You don't casually respond when someone's threatening your home.
  5. From his statements it appears Belkin has been a covert enemy to Atlanta Spirit all along. His reasoning and actions do nothing but hurt the Hawks. Either this guy gets a payoff from sabotaging ASLLC or he's completely insane. He's definately screwing the pooch.
  6. Wow!! Incredible... I never liked the way this group was constituted in the first place. Maybe the Malachi group should have been given more than token consideration. Time Warner/CNN shut them out, even though they reportedly had a great portfolio and a unified vision for what they wanted to do with the team and it's impact on Atlanta and the surrounding area. Of course, controlling interest in Philips Arena was at stake and that may have been the real crux of the problem for TMG. I have no problem with BK and Woody. They've done quite well considering what they had to work with. I also have no problem with the Atlanta Spirit, sans Belkin. If reports are true, that he is the sole reason for the trade not being finalized, than it would be for the best if he divest himself from the ownership group immediately. With all due respect the man's business decisions appear to foster stagnation and negativity and in this case is a lightning rod for it.
  7. Quote: Capstone " I hope we are looking into some kind of Al deal that will get us Magloire and then we sign Griffen to fill some of Al's minutes. " Griffin, has had nothing but SERIOUS problems since he's been in the NBA and has not come close to playing up to expectations. Why do you think BK would bring in a guy with the amount of charachter issues he has??
  8. Dominique Wilkins: Quote: ...but hopefully they give him a set position(PF or SF), and not do the flip flop thing. Yeah, having a routine is never a bad thing, but neither is having the versatility to play more than one position. By the way, I like your Cenk av, the kid is tearin' it up over seas. I hope he actually plays with the Hawks some day.
  9. Well, I wouldn't abandon the team but I would be in purgatory again.
  10. Bringing Marbury in would signal an abrupt shift back to the Babcock/Rider days. It won't happen but if it did I'd be an X-Hawks fan.
  11. And hopefully play point guard eventually, maybe sooner than later.
  12. According to d*ck Vitale, we got the steal of the draft in Salim Stoudimire. BABY!!!
  13. Ahhhhh, I respectfully decline. No.
