Anyone old enough to remember when Reed's dad played for the Hawks?

didn't realize Jeff was his dad but yes, I remember him. He's been a running joke between my brother and I for ages.

Edwards is one of my favorite players right now, especially as a UGA alum.  Dude is so good and plays so hard.  TWolves are going to be scary as long as he's there

where are the folks that thought it was ridiculous to package Huerter/#6/filler to move up to #1 in that draft? I remember reading some of the comments and asking myself "are these people really my friends?"

helped the Grizzlies thump Coach Bob Weiss' SuperSonics in Seattle on this day back in 2006

it is so INSANE to rationalize that that guy was still a head coach in the NBA in 2006. I wasn't impressed with him during his time here.

He was the head of scouting for us. Smart guy

oh dang... that sucks. I guess no one wants to be around the Resslers.

Many posters trash our recent draft picks but I think our drafting since 2018 has been the best in Hawks history.

And for those posters, go back and look at every pick over the past 30 years. The only hits that obviously come to mind are Jason Terry and Alice.

Hunter has been fantastic since he came back.

He's way better off the bench when he gets the opportunity to be one of the first options on offense // one that creates. He's not skilled enough to score buckets against opposing starters and his passing is too terrible to be able to pass out when he gets locked down. I've enjoyed seeing him get the opportunity to operate against lesser defenders. If nothing else should build his confidence.

The Lakers had the best top end talent and some very nice complimentary pieces in between like Robert Horry, Glen Rice, Ron Harper, Ho Grant, Rick Fox, etc.

He was the missing piece that put them over the hump. Until the trade of Eddie Jones for him, they had fit issues (like we do) because Eddie was redundant with Kobe. He was also that sniper that spread the floor for Shaq and Kobe to operate. I learned a lot about team building by observing the Lakers closely before and after that trade, despite being just a young lad the size of Mugsy Bogues.

didn't they.   don't tell me i'm confused again.  it's possible.

I recall the Mavs defeating the Heat in LeBron's first year. I thought the next year was when the Spurs had the chance to put them away but Ray Allen hit that corner 3 to force game 6 and then Heat took over from there.

I guess we can all google this but it's more fun to test our brains.

Hawks have two 1sts but right now, that Kings pick is looking shaky for 2024. They are falling and the teams in the balance are a rising Warriors team and a Laker team in a playin could be hard ish to overcome. That said, we need a 2025 1st.

this is good. If Kings are in the lottery, there's our 2025 pick right there.

This team needs to make a big trade this summer to give the fans any reason to seriously invest in this franchise as long as Ressler owns it.

Tony Ressler for Mike Tyson? That'd be siqq.
