Moore's articles are always a joke. I have stopped reading any articles of his about 3 years ago. Hell i wouldn't even wipe my dog's a*s with something he wrote.

Of course he didn't pay for those tickets. But I appreciate them no matter what. I'm sure JT donated a heck of alot more money to the fund than what it would cost for lets just say 500 tickets. But its not just the money. Its all the time he has invested over the last month or so. I know of atleast 6 different appearences in the last month to help promote the game. Let me just say this. There were about 50 kids running around street jam that were just a happy as could be. I'm talkin' about kids that were even too young to even care who JT is. But there Jason was playing around with them having a ball. I have also met Smitty many of times. Yes he does alot for community, but as far as personality. JT has a huge advantage. The only other athlete that I have seen that compares to JT is Cal Ripken.

JT is such a great guy. I was sitting in the parking lot in my car waiting for street jam. JT comes right up to my car and starts talking to me. He's total class act. He spent 1Hr 20 Min shooting with kids and having contests. JT played one on one with a kid. The little brat dribbled the ball right through JT's legs. I can tell that JT loves working with the kids. He also signed autographs and gave tickets to everyone for Sundays game. He asked me if I was going to game. Told him I wasn't sure cause I didn't get tickets yet. He held up 2 tickets and said "How 'Bout Now". Heck Yea!

I surely hope Theo is not going to be playing in JT's game. He is listed to participate. We don't need to be getting him hurt in a charity game.

The only reason he is being compared to Price,Nash, and Stockton is because they are all white. I think there is alittle more to basketball than just the color of the skin.

Dickau is my boy. Followed his whole career through college. But I'm not going to jump to conclusions yet. Of course he is already one of my fav Hawks with JT but for people calling him Hawks PG of future...I really don't know yet. Remember JT was supposed to be our PG of future. I also remember Bobby Hurley. He was one of the best in college. But when he got to NBA he never could get off the bench. I'm going to just wait and see how Dickau handles the high speed power game of the NBA.

I bet jordan is really the one who gets a laugh out of pippen being on that list. This list pisses me off every time I see it. Pippen has never done jack without jordan.Pippen's ppg since he lost jordan. '98-'99= 14.5, '99-'00= 12.5, '00-'01= 11.3, '01-'02= 10.6. At this pace he will be under 10ppg fot this year. Surely this does not look like a top 50 player to me. NBA was always willing to kiss the Bulls as* when Jordan was around.

I wonder how much Mussleman helped his chances of getting the GS job by coaching as well as he did in the summer league. If Muss leaves I wonder if the Hawks would even look at 'Nique to fill the vacant position. I know that "Nique really wants to get into coaching or GM job. But I really don't know why 'Nique sticks aruond. For some reason the Hawks love to screw former players. There is no reason why 'Nique shouldn't be considered for a coaching job with the Hawks. Just seems to me that a young player would benefit more from 'Nique than they would for someone like Steve Henson. Eventually he will have to leave to get a coaching job.

I like this trade alot. I would love to see Spree with the Hawks but not at the expense of JT. With JT, Spree, & SAR that would give us 3 GOTG. Spoon was a good scorer but I have barely heard any about him the last 4 years. He would probably be a good Vet to come off bench.

Babcock was on 790 last night and replayed again today. Babcock responded to JT Spree trade by saying that normally he doesn't comment on trade talks but this time he can say that there was actually 0% truth to this rumor. Made me feel alittle better. Just to be safe I already emailed Hawks begging not to trade JT. I'm sure they get emails like it all the time but I had to write them. I wouldn't mind having Spree but not by the expense of JT.

they gotta be real careful how the use theo. we don't need to get him hurt in some summer games. i'm happy if he's only playing in one game. i'll be holding my breath a winter for him to stay healthy. i just don't know if i can hold my breath long engouh.

Hawksfreak. You've made 12 posts today and the only info you've gave us is DG leading scorer, UD leading rebounder, and weird dude for Nets leads their scoring. This is all info we can get right off Hawks.com. If you are at the game, take notes on whole game and then make your report. We don't need to know that Dickau dunked in warmups. Big deal 99% of the NBA can dunk. Give us info like how UD shot. How many shots were in paint and how many were outside. How is Theo looking in shoot arounds and when is he going to play. Whats DerMarr looking like with the 15 lbs. he's put on. My point is your wasting space on this site making one-liner posts saying DG is leading scorer. Watch the full game and take notes. Then write one long in depth report. We really don't need a report tomorrow because Hawks are on ESPN2 at 2PM.

They got rid of Murph to make room for David Justice. And heck Justice only spent about 6 years with the Braves.

You gotta say 100% that its Jerry West. But I have to cast a vote fot Mark Cuban. Even though he's not a GM, I give him a vote for what he's done for the Mavs franchise. On Best Damn Sports Show Period, Shaq was ask to describe Cuban in 2 words. His response. A REAL OWNER.

Hawks have about a thousand or so diehards. You and me included. Just too bad its not enough to fill an arena.

There were no Braves fans around in 1990 except for a few thousand die hards. Braves fans around the nation have only been around since 1991 when they started winning. If you walked in a sports store in PA where I used to live, you would not be able to find one item. Once they went to the world series, everybody wanted Braves merchandise. Lets just say the wagon was just getting loaded in 1991.

I noticed since I moved to Atlanta. That Atlanta has the worst sports fans in the country. Yes it does matter to me weather my team wins or loses but either way I will support the team 100%. If Hawks get 50 wins this year or just 25 I'm still going to attend the same amount of games. Don't get me wrong. There are those few thousand or so fans that are die hard but most fans in Atlanta are wagon jumpers. That goes for Hawks, Braves, and Falcons. I can't really say too much about Thrashers yet, cause the newness of NHL hasn't worn off yet.

Dolf I never thought about it that way. Being as young as he is surely another team may have wanted him if he had blossomed last year. I Met him this past year and he is a great kid. I would like to see someone like JT or Shareef time him under their wing. I know for sure, 'Nique would be a great model for Leon. But that of course is only if the Hawks gave 'Nique a little more respect and got him into coaching.

I agree with ya dolf. I like Leon very much. I think if he has a good summer league that would be a big step forward for his career. I just hope Hawks really make an effort to help him this sumer. I was very disappointed in Hawks last few games of season. I felt they should have given him alot more playing time in the last 2 or 3 games. My summer wish is to somehow acquire Mike Miller. He would for sure give us some much need size at the 2G. With Miller, JT,Dickau, & DerMarr that would give us some serious deep ball threat.

I like what we got right now. Its pretty much plain and basic. I can't stand busy flashy uniforms. Maybe a change in jersey cut would be fine though. Laker style.

In off season anytime is fine. But during season. the night after games would be great. This way we wouldn't have to hurry home from game.
