Camby would be a great fit on this team IMO...a very athletic player, great defender, and rebounder...that's EXACTLY what we need on this team. As other have mentioned though, his injury history is a little disheartening.

I've been hearing some rumblings about Al to LAL for Bynum, (filler), and their 1st next season. I would take that deal in a second!!

I'm not saying this because of Summer League...I'm just saying there is a lot of pressure to give the guy major playing time. #2 pick in the draft and he was brought along slowly last year...I think it's really time to throw him in the fire...I'd start Smoove at the 4 over Shelden.

I think it's gonna be REAL hard to keep Marvin out of the starting line-up...even if it is at the expense of Smoove starting.

So I got in this argument with my friend the other day that goes to Michigan (is a semi-Pistons fan, just cause he goes to school up there). He was bragging about how good Ben Wallace was, and I said Dennis Rodman was a better player, and just as good of a defender. What do yall think?

How would you have wanted this offseason to unfold? I'm not calling you out, I am genuinely curious. I know you hate BK (I can understand why), and question many of his moves in the draft, free agency, and even how he is handling this Al Harrington situation. You have a pretty negative view to the organization and how it is run, so I am just curious how you would do it. If you could go back in time to the beginning of this offseason, before the draft or Free Agency, how would you have handled this offseason?

Proved that they are worthy of max deals? I think Marvin has the *potential* to be worthy of a max deal within a few years, but Smoove (unless he becomes a great player between now and then) should not and will not get a max extension when he is due to be a free agent.

I think Smoove is a better passer than Marvin as well...

Lebron James is the only player in the entire league that as a GM I would accept no proposed trade for. No one on the Hawks is even close to "untradeable". Are yall honestly telling me you wouldn't do some of these trades? Style of play? I can't really think of any stars in the league right now that play the same way as him. He's similar in size to someone like LeBron James, but I don't think he has (or will have) the shooting range or ball handling ability of Lebron. On the other hand, I don't think he plays like KG or Dirk either...they are both more of PF's. Is Scottie Pippen a good comparison?

I think 38 is a fair prediction...maybe a little high. We are putting together a real nice core of young players, but I think they are all still a little too young and inexperienced to make a serious playoff push this season. I pray to God they prove me wrong, but I'm guessing we win about 35 games...if we catch a few real lucky breaks along the way we COULD be looking at the 8 seed with about 41 wins, I think that is a bit optimistic for the upcoming season though.

I just really like the idea because I feel like with all the moves going on right now Chill is the odd man out. The team is shaping up in a way that he is probably not going to see too much time on the court, and that's a shame because he still has a lot of talent. If we could work out some zone defense, and have every player on the floor be 6'8-6'9, I could see some great things on offense for us, the defense would be the weak point though against quicker guards.
