Salim should be getting all of Lue's mintues hands down. He already is way better at the only thing Lue can do which is shoot the basketball. It's a no brainer in my mind. Lue is just awful IMO. He ocassionally have the good game but he sucks for the most part. Salim just needs minutes. This guy can rip off 20pts any given night. [censored] he had 37pts one game last year. Has Lue ever scored over 30pts in his career in one game? Doubt it!

It's pretty clear Lue doesn't need to be playing extensive minutes anymore. Salim HAS to get more playing time because we NEED another shooter out there on the floor. I agree with what everyone is saying for the most part that Woody is a complete moron of a coach but how is he responsible for our unforced turnovers? He isn't the one out there on the court throwing the ball out of bounds trying to push the ball up the court is he? Last night I saw Horford and others snatch a rebound and try and throw a quick pass down court only to throw it out of bounds. And how many offensive fouls did we commit last night? I saw several stupid offensive fouls by Marvin, Chill and Smooove last night that were just unforced because they were out of control. It had nothing to do with Woodys schemes on offense either. Trust me Woody deserves a lot of blame but this team is still young as hell and the players need to be held accountable as well.

I pray your right TexasPete. Keep up with the optimism that Smoove is going nowhere. It makes me feel better at least but i'm still worried with this ownership in shambles and no money.

Screw Foye!! I can't believe some on here were wanting him anyways. He has done absolutely nothing so far to warrant his selection. Shelden has done better than him.

This guy is twice the size Jones is at least in weight. He is clearly bigger and stronger than Jones. I like Jones but he is a twig out there against NBA centers and PF. This guy can at least matchup with them.

Yeah Barkley is always picking the Hawks to rise up! I think he is right this year. If we stay healthy i don't see how we don't make the playoffs this year. I'm really liking how Smoove, Marvin and chill are looking right now. They look determined.

Yeah that is laughable. Stoudamire has been a bum for years now. I consider Speedy and Damon equal if anything because they always have injuries. Law is clearly better right now than Conley. I actually think Lowry is your best PG on Memphis at the moment. He was putting up good numbers last year before he got hurt and is doing so again now.

Yeah Lowry is really good! He had a triple double the other night. I don't even see Conley beating out Lowry personally since Lowry can actually shoot the ball. So glad we didn't take Conley at 3.

I don't think so really. Blount is a bum and average NBA player at best. Davis is a ballhog and will just take shots away from Wade which is a good thing. So I don't see this move really hurting us IMO. Were still a better team overall when healthy.

I will also be there pouring some cold beers down and getting fired up for this game. Can't wait to see this team in real action.

I heard Woodson said Law is having an MRI on his wrist today and that Chill had a bruised forearm. I think both of these guys are crucial to for us to have a good year. Anyone heard anything?

Actually no one could get to the game last night. My buddy and I sat in traffic on 75 for an hour getting to the game. There was a wreck further up on 75 yesterday that was disastrous. We didn't even get to the game till midway through the second quarter. Yes it was pretty empty but it was just a preseason game. I bet its sold out for opening night.

I just got home from the game and boy am I excited about this team. Acie Law and Horford are the TRUTH!! Joe is unbelievable and was draining shots at will. Law is absolutely phenomenal. He was driving and dishing being the PG this team so desperately needed. He had a nice stat line of 10pts, 6ast, 6rb. and 3 stls. Speedy didn't even play tonight I think. Marvin had another great game scoring with 21pts. Horford is a monster out there when you see him in person. He had a great game as well with 10pts, 9rb, and 2blks. Chill and Smoove didn't play a whole lot with only 17-18min. but dominated when they were in the game. Shelden also had another solid game too. Zaza was okay but is just terrible on defense. I really like our chances this year if we can stay healthy. Our depth is also another huge advantage we will have over other teams. Law and Horford look to be perfect picks and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see either one win ROY. This might sound like a homer post but this is what I saw.

The starting lineup HAS to be: Speedy or Law JJ Marvin SMooove Horford No questions asked!! Zaza is still terrible out there and a liability on defense at center. Zaza is a great backup though no doubt and that is what he should be doing. Horford is already a better all around player than Zaza will ever be.
