Every key guy played like 35 minutes last night--that is not good, especially if we are playing every other night this week, and one of those people includes one of our key big men (Horford). Mario and Solo/Shelden should be getting sparse minutes throughout the game so people like JJ and Smoove can catch breathers. Very concerned if we are in fact going to the playoffs...

Let's take advantage of Gasol, Fisher, and Walton/Turiaf, by pushing the tempo, running like crazy. I'd even like to see some Mario if possible

The thing is , you never see his pathetic follow-through...He's ALWAYS in the right place at the right time under the basket, and he and Smoove have incredible chemistry together.

I am assuming we'll win tonight by about 7, maybe 96-89, so I thought I'd go ahead and make a post regarding our biggest home game of the year. 1) It is a *PERFECT* time to run. L.A. has a lot of injuries (Walton I believe) and is not young either. 2) Attack Gasol--The guy has always looked frail, is hailed as "soft", and his conditioning must be pretty sour given his injury record and he hasn't played in a while. Horford is much stronger anyway, so he must play a good game 3) Smoove needs to cancel out with Odom or do slightly better. 4) Acie and CHillz need to show up. We'll see tonight if Saturday was a fluke or if Acie is going to continue to be confident. 5) Joe needs to score at least 18. I am sure he remembers last year's game and won't let Kobe do that again on our court. ***RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN***

Probably the Saturday right after the last game of season (season usually ends on a Tues. or Wed., so that Saturday will be the first game I believe.

I don't even know what that guy preaches anymore. Whenever we're on a losing streak, his most insightful thing is "we must figure out how to get out of this funk." When we have trade options, he says "we will only make a trade if it makes us better." He says we will be a running team (I heard him say that in person and watched all 12 players doing extra warm-ups just because they believed in this philosophy). We go out West and our offense looks like a bunch of High school kids running around. Actually, I'm wrong. Because on half court offense, no body "runs" around. We just stand around and watch JJ take contested 23 foot fadeaways

In the latest AJC article, all our players are saying how we need to run if we will be successful. Wtf? Why are we still having this problem over halfway into the season?
