A good trade would be Childress + Lue + Lo + Salim for Bibby (absorb some contract if you have to), then trade Shelly straight up for Matt Carroll, and package Marvin somehow for a 7 footer and teach Smoove how to shoot so he can play SF

LOL I'd do that trade before I fired Woodson. He doesn't play defense and I don't know where he'd fit in our lineup. If we could somehow get Biedrins in a package, we could dump Marvin. Doesn't GS still need a backup for Baron Davis? That is, a backup point guard (we seem to have quite a few of those)

We add Al Horford and Acie Law, keep the same players, and we have 2 more wins now than we did this time last year? WTF? With all those injuries last year to Marvin, Chillz, Smoove (missed 5 games), T.Lue, and like 8 other players. This year , we missed Chillz for a few, Lue for a few, ZaZa (doesn't even count), and we can't do any better? On a brighter note, that article about Horford on the AJC Hawks site really brought a smile to my face. This guy is a true class act, is a warrior, has no ego at all, and I hope we keep him for many years to come.

No way we ever take MCJ. He was a horrendous shooter in workouts, we already have our rookie point guard (we need a VET like Andre Miller) to take Acie under his wing. I'd take Kyle Lowry in that trade though

Both for me and the Hawks. For me, I skipped studying and doing a bunch of productive things, and instead, spent half my day on here, ESPN.COM, and listening to the radio, hoping for a Woodson FIRED mention or some Hawks rumors. BUT NOTHING For the Hawks, we could've made a trade, fired Woodson, and this would've given us 4 or 5 days till our next game to get the new players familiarized with our "system". I'm hoping for a 3 PM blockbuster Hawks trade tomorrow, but I won't get my hopes up. I mean, we are talking about the ASG, aren't we?

I got the cheaper Smoove jersey at TSA, with the wider shoulder straps (not the game-style jersey). Initially, I was REALLY pissed because it said "ATLANTA" (road jersey), and not "Hawks", so I thought it was some cheap replica. Then I realized it says HAWKS on our whites and ATLANTA on our roads haha

If we could get a Diop or average/okay 7 footer, move Horford to PF, move Smoove to SF and teach Smoove how to shoot in the offseason (Smitty, do your magic), then those two might take this team deep deep deep into the playoffs in the next decade. That is, assuming we have a new coach and owners I got a Smoove jersey of the new style, but only seem to wear it to games, and of course with our incompetent owners there's a chance he isn't with us next year. Just wondering, bumpy, I know you have supported BK...What do you think of him now? Are you mad he isn't making obvious trades like an Andre Miller or Lowry or any PG in the market?

Very good trade. Good work. May have to sub player in instead of Lo, although he did come from there. The best part about this trade is that it clears it up for Acie to actually get minutes.

I read some sh!t that he is so busy scouting European players or something. His team is falling quickly, has 5 legit teams contending with it for the final 2 spots (more like 6 or 7 teams), and 99.999999999999999999999% of the fanbase is pissed. I wonder what he is doing right now, at 4:17 PM, less than 192 hours before the trade deadline

Wow, I haven't seen you much around, but that was damn eloquence. The part about them sending the message they don't give a sh!t, the part about us not winning for a decade... I've sent about 10 emails to every ASG email I can find, all the emails from different addresses, and i GET THAT SAME ANNOYING REPLY EVERY TIME: THAT THEY'RE EVALUATING. WTF We have 90 wins in 4 seasons. Dallas almost had 70 last year

There is no "we". It's all Billy Knight. Whatever his ego tells him, that's what goes. And that usually involves winning championships for other teams (Detroit trade involving Sheed), not making trades , or making bad trades (Al Harrington and another player for Acie Law)

I just saw this too. JJ's comment that we can't spread the floor means that Acie wasn't in the game when he should've been and when he said it kills us every time, he meant we dont have any shooters and that Marvin sucks
