I'd prefer if they were quality players regardless of skin color.
Lol. Understood. Easy to be taken the wrong way though.

Moose had a great start to last season and then returned back to normal. I wonder how much his hot start last season influenced his overall grades in those metrics mentioned earlier.
Still, 5 million for a backup center is ok. I just hope that means he's a backup and not starting. We already have one "how he is in the NBA at all" white centers in Plumless on the roster.
Would you prefer they weren't white centers?

Haven't our GM learned ANYDAMNTHING...
I would hold Crawford until teams get desperate and we can get a good deal. I don't care if he was sitting on the bench wearing Brooks Brothers for 56 games... He doesn't leave Atlanta without a trade.
I agree with you on this. Wait until closer to the deadline to find a suiter if one isnt available now.

Glad he's back and on a fair deal. Hoping he starts scoring from deep with consistancy next year as a stretch 4/5 and further improves his pick and roll game with Dennis.

Well I do enjoy watching the games and I cheer for the Hawks, of course, but I don't think it's important.
It's very important for players trying to make NBA rosters and for teams to evaluate how their young talent matches up against other young talent in the league.
Watch a few games. You'll be surprised how easy it is to pick out the more talented players.

I like him already.

Dude shot 43% from 3 last year. So there's that.

i just now looked at Diamond's D-League stats. He must've been dominant. Magette was an al D-League 2nd teamed. Throw Bembry, Prince, Collins, Dorsey, Kaba, Cordinier. Who said the Hawks wouldn't be championship contenders this year?
Does the D-League have a championship?

Bummer. Not really interested in the other two.

Quick question about matching, do teams who make the offer set the terms for duration and price, or just price?

Not sure Hayward does that much for Boston. They weren't as good as their record last year and Hayward is a Horford type signing (i.e. very nice player but not close to a superstar).
Boston got better and should be at least tue 2 seed in the East. Hayward already knows the system and will play well in it.
It sucks, but thats what it is.
I feel pretty bad for Jazz fans. They would have been something special in a year or two had Hayward stayed.

Sign him to the max deal. Dallas is going to match but at least we force them to use up the cap space.
I don't think the Hawks should offer the max just to spite the Mavs. No need to drive up prices in this market amd it will make it more difficult to acquire him via a trade if that becomes a possibility in the future.

Yes. Pretty much. Probably. Yes. Yes. Maybe.

Hope this goes through.

If this is the case then there should be no problem with bud playing our rookies and other 2 year players this upcoming season.
Allow those guys to get better vs actual starting units. I expect to see Collins as a starter as well as 2nd year prince and bembry as main rotational player off the bench with Dorsey
mind as well play play our young guys ...no need to play old ass vets
Im okay with this if the young bucks are playing well. However, Bud has shown that he will pull players if they routinely make the same mistake. Dennis and Dwight are good examples of this.

This is a strange fit but I think this actually makes the Rockets a bit better.

Sooo, i will say that sports radio has improved in this town over the past couple years but I find myself reading Peachtree Hoops over anything the AJC writes.

So, I recently "cut the cord" and no longer have NBA TV. I could add it to my streaming package but that almost doubles my subscription cost.
Anyone know if NBA League Pass for the Hawks streams the games via the NBA app? Or, if there are other streaming options.
Ps. Not looking to stream for free. Just wondering what services others use. I dont mind paying.

It is going to be difficult to field a competative team from where we sit today so if Schlenk can pull it off I'll be really impressed.

Collins is totally a PF in the traditional sense although he will get some minutes at C in smaller lineups.
