Shams from the Athletic just said The league thinks Collins is a max guy…….we shall see what we do.
Not sure how we replace him unless we put Hunter at the 4 and Reddish at the 3. But Hunter’s knee is a scary deal. I hope he’s not injury prone.
Agreed w ranking @NBASupes
maybe even have OO ahead of Collins. Such a tough call now. I do think a healthy Hunter and reddish starting at the 3 and 4 going forward is more beneficial
I can see Goodwin having interest.
I’ll survive if Lou leaves- someone like Derrick Rose to replace him and as a back up point would be phenomenal.
Huerter and his defense and playmaking ability impressed me the most.
OO might be the next Ibaka….
I agree with a big body. Capela had a hard time finishing inside unless it was a lob. OO will be his replacement in time. This guy is going to be pretty good. He has some outside touch too.
Hawks need another playmaker. I think Bogi is a core piece for the next few years. He played so freaking good down the stretch
I may be in the minority. I’d do the deal for Culver. His numbers aren’t far off from Reddish. Plus 17 and I’d even see about adding Layman to the deal (another shooter)
One thing to keep in mind is the Hawks have to spend at least 90% of the salary cap. So they’re gonna have to spend in free agency or take on someone in a trade.
Is it possible the Hawks are targeting Beasley in free agency? Not sure how he’s recent arrest changes things. Seems Twolves are open to letting him walk based on what they do with the pick.
Whoever floated an idea of Dedmon for Wiggins with a swap pick and take Wiseman.....I’d have to strongly consider that.
Young, Wiggins, Cam, Collins and Capela is a nice 5.....
Just wanted to post the question about players currently on an NBA team that played for the Hawks over the summer.
Two come to mind that we cut:
Raja Bell
Udonis Haslem
