  1. ...that Woodson said (a week or two ago) that he would start monitoring the main guys' minutes more. However those same guys are still playing all the heavy minutes. That's just hilarious and shows his incompetence. He can't even adjust things that he points out to the media (fans) - Sad. This is the part of the season where the team should be working more of the bench into the fold and building those guys' confidence so that that when we are fight for position late in the season, he, himself, would have confidence in a 8-9 player rotation. Right now, he is STUPIDLY pounding a 6-7 man rotation at teams and these guys get burned out in games that are very winnable - resulting in poor effort + low energy + low tempo + no rest = A LOSS!!! If you are not going to us the guys because of his poor confidence in them or no trust - TRADE THEM for a key piece that YOU WILL PLAY - IDIOT!!!
  2. No Baron "B-Diddy" Davis who avg 22+ppg, 8+apg!!! WOW that along with Josh Smith has to be the 2 biggest snubs this year! That's also proof the the leagues "Powers that be" don't like the Hawks or the rough-edged Warriors. That just simply sicks...
  3. I play almost daily (3-4 games) my tag is KentATL...
  4. Yeah a little because Joe shouldn't be out there playing half-assed through injuries, but Roy also got that p*ssy call to win where he was fading away and got a bail out call. That's a terrible way for us to lose after play so good. But hey, the Hawks played to soft in the end again and let them get in the game when they had no hope.
  5. As long as we keep Smoove, Joe, and Horford, it's a great deal for us. Even though Marvin improved a lot and has tons of potential, Marvin would definitely have to be included in a trade for Paul. Because I'm sure it boils down to the same thing as any other deal that has actually been on the table for the Hawks - include Marvin or J-Smoove. ANd it would be one of the dumbest deals in history if we trade Smoove for Pau. NO WAY! You just don't give up a very young, super athletic gem who's a DPOY canadite and our team struggles enough defensively as it is. Not convinced? OK! Just follow me here... Picture a lineup with a Marvin + Pau...hmm! Not too shabby. Now, picture a lineup with Smoove + Pau...Ok, now wipe your mouth and stop salivating...but you get the picture right.

Are the Hawks gonna give this guys a shot next year or what? He is a pretty big guard and from what I've seen, he has developed his game a little more over the last couple years. He also has a nice website: Cenk Akyol's website I am a web/ multimedia designer who creates those types of websites, so I was surprised to see his look that nice.
  7. We could beat BOS, especially at home. I think we will beat them at least once at Phillips. From looking at the flow of the game, there are things that I notice that favored the Hawks. Here some key things that I noticed would have to be different for the Hawks to win: 1. KG must be contained (not stopped)!!! Solution: Though it's unlikely with Woody coaching, the Hawks will have to either use a zone to be able to double KG and keep him from kicking out to wide open shooters. My suggestion would be a 3-2 or a 1-3-1 zone because our speed and athleticism. 2. Peirce needs to be slowed. Solution: Peirce can not get ALL of those borderline calls, get to the hole using his off arm, and can't be rewarded when crying to the refs. 3. Lue can't play. Solution: Play Salim more with either Chillz or JJ to handling the rock a little more. Salim would hustle more, would not slow the offense, and would defend House better. 4. We have to STAY aggressive and the refs must call fouls better inside. Because KG and Perkins defended well but they also got away with a few grabs, slaps, and bumps inside. Hawks must keep attacking. 5. Acie must attack more. Smoove must be patient more on offense and stop forcing. All slashers (JJ, Chillz, Marvin, Smoove, and others) must CHANGE directions sometimes when they have slow-footed defenders in front of them such as Peirce, Scalabrine, and Perkins. Now, aren't these things easily possible? In fact, with the exception of the zone and Lue's PT, these things happen in the game a couple of times (the 1st Qtr+ and when we cut their 17 point lead to 8).
  8. Don't be surprised if we're all seeing a poor man's Duncan = Horford and a poor man's Dirk = Yi in the next 2 years.
  9. Am I the only one that feels screwed a little bit with ALL the preseason hype that everyone (ESPECIALLY Claxton) was healthy and ready to go? I can understand and accept the Zaza minor injury, but Claxton probably won't end up playing 60 games in 2 years for us and what pisses most of us off is that he can play and make an impact when healthy. SERIOUSLY!!! Why can't we just buy him out for maybe 60-70% of his remaining deal or ask him to do us a favor and retire? We could pick up a solid vet PG like Francis from HOU, where he is in Adelman's doghouse? He was boughtout by NY and is only making about $2.5M. Now a lot of people say that he's been a cancer in past situations but he seems to have grown up a lot over the past year. The way that he's handling not playing any minutes right now in HOU shows that he his maturity is on another level. I don't know about ya'll, but I would love to have a 6'3/ 195lb, athletic PG that can score in a lot ways, rebound like a forward, and dish out assists. He could come off the bench with about 10-12ppg / 4reb/ 4ast and that would make us even strong and deeper. Or he could easily start here in front of the rookie to ease Acie's development a litte more. Francis/ Law makes us bigger and more athletic in the backcourt with JJ and that's way better than Lue/ AJ/ and 30% of Speedy.
  10. It'd only be nice it was cut after he said, "I am the Law!!!" then went into highlights, special effects, and closeups of Acie. Now that would be an intro.
  11. You also have to think about his struggles with the langauge exchange with teammates coming into play. Because he has the talent/ strength to be a revounding beast and he also has potential to develop low post moves. I think he could become a real solid backup PF/C on any team.
