I posted the below in another thread, 2 weeks ago and I remain interested to see how this lineup would do with meaningful minutes.

Anybody else waiting impatiently to see this on the floor:
Teague
Korver
Thabo
Horford
Splitter

In those highlights, he reminds me of Anthony Morrow.
-
He is definitely a project; I would not count on much of anything from him this year.

I'm just worried about how bad the refs will be. Last night was obvious, this series will probably be worse.
-
If this dude misses a playoff game because of a pinky...
-
Who is the last bench big, that could finish inside, in traffic, and rebound?
-
Can't leave all those open threes. Good win, nonetheless.
Actually, that was a perfect game plan; Philly is the worst 3 pt shooting team in the league. Stuff happens when you are the best team in the league, teams start to play up for you.

Read a tweet that stated in the last 7 games, Hawks have had 7 different leading scorers. Each scorer, scoring 20+ points. That has to be some kind of record.

couldn't find any stream. Radio link?
There is a radio link at nba.com, free registration.

So will he play tomorrow? I guess Cartier and Carroll will battle with one another for minutes from here forward.
I think we will see Dennis' minutes shrink.

Josh Childress

Brand is our only quality backup big; rest should be in the D-League.
-
I hope we sign Greg Oden. We only got one true center on the roster and that's Bebe. The rest are just tweeners. Some won't even get a lot of mins like Antić and Bebe. We still have about 20-25 MPG left on the table since Zaza signed elsewhere. Mozgov just got 3/14. If proven healthy, Oden should at least get 2/8.
This is team built to be a 9th to 10th seed Eastern conference team. They aren't getting in the playoffs as they stand.
It's amazing how much of a big deal some people make out of Al being a 6 10 (all star) center, as not good enough. It is not ideal, but, it is no where as bad as some make it out to be.

I really don't see both Jenkins and Korver starting. I think KK may start at the 2 with Carroll at the 3.
-
Yep, good enough right now to be a third Center on this team. Leaving him over there makes no sense, since we can't get a big in FA.
-
At the very least, he is going to piss off some very good basketball players.

Do you really see Jenkins playing SF? I think he is a pure guard.
I got a feeling that DF sees Scott playing more 3 than 4. I hope not but, I can see Carroll KK and Scott being the SF rotation.

This signing would have to do more with Muscala. I think Danny was counting on this dude making the team and being able to contribute a little. But, he is soft and drugstore cotton and can't play defense.
This is the backup plan to Mike not being able.
-
Seems like there must be a way to get Gortat from Phoenix. This move has Danny Ferry written all over it.
-
Drew Gooden was just waived.
-
I guess our backup center is midget sized Elton Brand at this point.
I didn't notice Ferry saying in an interview he was determined to have the smallest roster in the NBA but damn if he didn't go do it.
I have to believe that at the very least, Petro would be back.
-
That dude is not healthy, basically had to nurse him through last year. His knees are a problem.

Don't start him for sure. Last year in 18 starts he only shot 34%. He can probably still grab a handful of rebounds, but its the same as always. Instead of targeting the best options we go for the scraps. Same as it has always been.
What I think Ferry attempting to do is keep the roster flexible and still competitive. We have pieces that we can trade, but probably still talented enough, especially if coaching allows us to overachieve, to make playoffs.I really don't think that the ownership could withstand a non playoff year, and they have probably let Danny know that.

They have to be looking towards signing a buyout/waived vet or two. No way Bud thinks that this team is not good enough to return to ECF and does nothing.
