Ferry looking out for a fellow Dukie. But seriously, how sad is this, Brand would probably be the best post scorer we have had on our bench in quite awhile.

Maybe we could pull a trade for Gortat or Biedrins. There is a reason Carroll has not signed yet.
-
I assume Petro will be brought in, but maybe there are trying to trade for someone like Gortat or Biedrins.
-
Yeah, I am wondering if we are trying to get Gortat from the Suns; they drafted Len at #5 and are not trying to win right now.
-
Hmm but the thing is, will Ferry sign another big? He says he has been looking but the F/A pool is just scrubs now... Maybe a trade of some sort. Luckily Muscala looks good.
Yeah, we are going to sign another big, it may be Petro, but we will get another big in here.

JJ and KK are not as good on D as Leonard and Green. That makes a big difference, but, yeah there are some offensive similarities.

Players get the blame for bad management in ATL. It's not the fault of a player if he is drafted here when he should not have been or signed as a FA and is played out of position. Not the fault of the players that we have not had an experienced head coach since Lenny Wilkens. Or that the current ownership group can't really afford to put together a team deep enough to complete. Jeff has done everything you would ask, improved each year after being punished for nothing as a rookie.
Because past management has done such a piss poor job drafting high, fans blame the lower draft picks like Teague for not being Chris Paul.

I would think are guard rotation is basically done. I agree with those that think what we need is a 3.We have:Teague - Schröder - Mack?Korver - Lou - JenkinsAnd:CarrollMillsap - ScottHorford - Muscala - (Noguera?)So I'd say SMALL FORWARD and BACKUP CENTER are definitely pieces we still need. And I'd guess Ivan might be brought back too.
I think Jenkins gets more time at the 2 with Lou, allowing KK to get more time at the 3. I think Carroll and KK get the majority of the SF minutes. It's possible we see Petro, Ivan and Tolliver back. I want Dalembert, but I think he chooses Dallas.

I thought Bud just said that Lou will serve in a role like Manu's in SA.

Screwing with Drew and the Bucks.

I would expect maybe a rim protector and rebounding? Nobody on this team can grab a rebound outside of Al and Millsap.
I'm still hoping for Dalembert.

Hawks will match the offer sheet to Jeff Teague. Back in Atlanta. #ATLHawks

Dennis couldn't finish inside to save his life, and was just as bad as Jeff getting through screens, but that guys vision and passing.......WHOOOO! lol
Yep, and that is the thing you really can't teach a PG, court vision. Most times either you have it or you don't.

I don't see how you can say he'd be ready for the season when he's got to have surgery on the toe. It may not be 100% ethical, but I don't blame Cuban for not wanting to throw his money and Dirk's final years in the toilet without at least trying to make his team as good as he can.
I was just going off what the story said. He should be out until start of reg season, and the Mavs, supposedly remain interested.
Story going online now: Mavs remain interested in signing Harris but surgery required expected to keep Harris out until start of reg. season
-
Devin can't stay healthy and it just cost him $3 million per season. I'm almost willing to start a donation fund to thank Devin for allowing the Mavs to sign Monta.
That's BS, they certainly could have signed him, he would ready for the season. They found something better, in Monta, and kicked Devin to the curb. Mavs will probably sign Dalembert now, damnit.
I wouldn't sign Devin.
-
What would they trade? Gasol?
Not sure, they could certainly use a third team to get him.
I have to admit that I am Interested to see what this lineup could do.
Jennings
Korver
DMC
Millsap
Al
-
Don't forget they also have Ridnour.
Yeah, I don't see them keeping Jennings. I think the Lakers may try to trade for him, though.
-
Can Dallas afford Dalembert, now?
-
Don't know yet, I still want Brandon Jennings.
I think DF wants Jennings too; but, so do a lotta teams.
-
They may be the dark horse in the east. 6th seed wouldn't surprise me.
Dumars made a mistake. The Pistons should be the poster team for tanking. Have not had a winning season since 2007, what's one more year? They would have gotten a top three pick probably and had money to spend next year in a better FA market and on a better FA than Josh Smith. Instead, they will hover around the 8th seed and are stuck with Josh.
-
Those things you mentioned gave us 26th ranking in attendance and let's go Heat chants.
How many of you actually go to games; or do you leave it up to other fans?
-
Talking about overreaction, wow. Dude has been here a year. The only reason that so many "so-called" fans have come out now, is because they thought we had a chance at Dwight.
-
It's obvious that Jeff's feelings were hurt when we drafted a PG.
Elton Brand to ATL.

Maybe, he is about to include Scott in a trade for a Center. I could see him in Utah or Phoenix.
