  1. Dude, my thoughts exactly. And it's riduculous to wait a whole week between the end of the Conference finals and the start of the finals. They should've started last tuesday therefore you have Games 1 and 2 on Tues/Thursday and have the extra travel day and start game 3 on Sunday in LA at 3 Eastern. It was stupid to have the extra off day between games 1 and 2 in Boston. Just stupid. David Stern is a smart man but he needs to seriously re-evaluate the playoff scheduling. I understand he wants his sport on during primetime, but back in the day, Sunday NBA Finals games started in the afternoon and they got mad ratings. That said, I wish we could just go back to the NBA on CBS...
  2. ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"> Maybe not the BEST play but the best collection of plays by 1 player in a game to me. Smoove's Game 3 show. And i was there to see it as well!
  3. I'd be upset if Woody was brought back but i'd just roll with the flow and hope for the best. That's pretty much the attitude of the country is these days as well. I think winning 3 games in the first round should not save his job. Finishing 8 games under .500 when you probably should've finished 4-8 over is a telling indictment. And losing by 34 in Game 7 should've put the final nail in the coffin. He CANNOT motivate these guys. I honestly think 3 raucous sellout crowds in the playoffs fired up these guys moreso than Mike Woodson.
  4. I doubt this will come to anything but I would LOVE for it to happen! I simply believe that Woody can't go any further with this team and it's time for a change before we start to regress next season. Come On Detroit! Do us a favor please!
  5. Woody: That kiss cam is some funny sh*t! Acie: Yeah coach, but the game is starting back. What are we running? Woody: Did you say RUNNING? What's running? Go sit down!
  6. Quote: The Heat aren't trading the #2 pick. Exactly. I think we can end this thread now
  7. We don't need another rookie here and we damn sure don't need an overpaid underachieving forward with attitude issues.
  8. I live in Central GA and we got hit really hard. Lots of trees and power lines are down. Some won't have power for days. It was very scary to be waken up when it's pitch black outside and all that going on around you.
  9. It's a genius idea and i am surprised the ASG hasn't considered it. It's the closest thing to having them play at home and it would be like a home game only many miles away.
  10. WOW. This is crazy! ZA-ZA PACHUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLYAAAAAAAAAAAA!
  11. Is there anyway possible to petition ESPN and get Stephen A. relieved of his duties as an "ANALyst"?? I want this dude fired ASAP. He's so ignorant and uneducated it's not even funny. If anyone knows how to get the ball rolling on a petition please let me know.
  12. I'm gonna be there no doubt! I was at Game 3 and it was very special. I'm sure friday will be just the same!
  13. Quote: I will be in the building!!!!!!!! Speaking of which when do they announce time? the game starts at 8. I saw it on ESPN
  14. That's great! Sorry you didnt get your tix. Maybe try Stubhub or Ebay.
  15. Quote: In the eyes of the NBA, the best case scenario is unfolding. Hawks and Sixers compete to garner excitement in those markets and make for a better story than sweeps. In the end though, the want Detroit and Boston to win these, with Boston moving on to set up the dream series with LA. I have to believe the NBA's worst case scenario would have been Toronto beating Utah in the finals :-) At least we can all thank Orlando for making sure that didn't happen. Excellent point. Stern does want the NBA to succeed in the ATL because it would add another competitive and exciting team to the East where they desperately need one. And i think the NBA 's worst case scenario in the West would be another San Antonio/Utah WCF again.
