He's not capable of being the backup point guard for a significant part of the season.

    That is asking for much.

No, he's not.  Everyone knows/knew that.

That’s obvious now but who really had Rondo pegged as THIS washed up to begin to the season.

No it's not.  It's these free agents that he brought in this season.  They have been an utter disaster.

To be fair, I think BB would be playing well if he wasn’t hurt. I like his no nonsense professional demeanor too.

Okongwu is going to be a star in the NBA by his third season.  I said it before he was drafted by Atlanta.  I liked his overall production as a freshman in college and his upside.  I feel like there is some untapped ability that he hasn't been able to show yet.  He will eventually be able to space the floor some.  His defense will be plus plus.  He's already shown the ability to be an efficient rim runner.

He’s got a long way to go size-wise to bring that to fruition, but other than that O agree.

Cam's shooting is beyond "Midrange Shawty" dreadfulness. It's at a level I honestly never though another NBA player could reach.

The boy is BAD. And please don't get me started with his "spectacular defense".  Josh could also do that every now and then.

This has always been Cams problem. He’s TERRIBLY and AGGRAVATINGLY  inconsistent.

No word yet on whether he'll be activated tonight, but the next guy to get asked at press conferences weekly about the timing for his Signature Shoe is...

(Trae, help your man out with some modeling tips. Or at least a couch.)

Forget modeling give that boy a sandwich 😂

His raw stats are comparable to Kawhi's 4th season when he was also 23. The visible differences are that Dre's been more efficient but Kawhi netted more boards, steals, and blocks.

If he keeps playing like this his end of the year offensive numbers might end up more like year 5 Kawhi.

I don't know if Dre has a DPOY trophy in his future but he could honestly get pretty close to Kawhi if he tightens his handle, improves his shot release speed, and works on his footwork and post fade. Those were things Leonard didn't fully bring out consistently untill years 5 and 6.

This jump is amazing given he played an incomplete season and had less practice time.

I hope HE can take on the leadership role from the team. I think if he keeps this up, he may be the guy who can reign Trae in respectfully so that we can get the Trae we saw in the very beginning of the season.

Yeah, but he's young which is why I said long run.

The problems he showed at Georgia are still there. It's not just his rock bottom shooting splits. His block, steal and defensive rebounding rate is among the lowest of NBA wings. Considering his substantial athletic gifts, that is very concerning. He has so far to go to become a winning player.

Yeah. I don’t think he went to a place that will maximize what he can be as a player too. He’s the classic high potential athlete with the right mindset (aggressive scorer) and raw skills. Where his career trends depends on the level of dedication to developing his own talent. From what Jimmy said, those boys up there in Minny ain’t got that fire to be great.

Great comeback.   I don't know what the Pistons were doing late in fourth.  They could have run out the clock.

Collins/Capela (JC3?) - is just kicking butt.   When they are both in the game it's pretty great and if Trae ever gets really cooking, for a whole game, then watch out.

We got a rough schedule coming up.  It'd be a good time to get in a groove and hopefully get Gallo back out there.

It’s just the kind of game we needed before hitting a rough stretch. I think we see our main players show up big over the next stretch.
