Really nervous now with Trae on the bench
-
Hawks aren’t getting good enough minutes when Giannis sits.
-
This team actually looks flustered

Giannis taking the 3 is his version of styling on us
I said in my head that shot right there is going to be the turn around in momentum for us. We are still in this game. I think this is their best punch

They don’t call 3 seconds on Giannis

Brook Embiid

Bench was playing good minutes before that 4 point swing. I still feel like the Hawks are in the game though

I didn’t care for Rome much on ESPN (I think that’s where he was) but he’s been the most supportive mainstream voice of us outside of KP

So I surfed social media after the game and strangely enough the Trae vs. Luka narrative hasn’t changed one bit. However, with all this news coming out, it’s a shocking twist that Luka may actually be a toxic star that puts up numbers but doesn’t make his team better. I think it’s so underrated that Trae has a very close relationship with his Dad to keep him focused and grounded.

On paper, Dwight should have tons of trouble keeping up with him while OO should struggle when Dwight backs him down or blocks him out. But Dwight has never been particularly good backing people down and OO has held his own in the contests of strength between them better than I would have expected. Love it.
Strength has always been my biggest concern with OO. Seeing him do OK in this series is promising considering this is his rookie year.

"Undisputed " just talked 24 straight minutes about the Hawks. You could probably add up any previous conversations they have had about the Hawks and not get 24 minutes.
Was it positive?

Cheapest I could find was 300, damn when did they start rasing them like that as demand surges , what should they cost ? I haven't bought playoff tiks since falcons but they didn't do this in 17
About 150+fees but you got caught in a demand surge

He was talking so much trash at the end of the last game about how Hawks needed to appreciate our season because it wasn't going any farther, that we wouldn't win another game. And then acting like he was the objective fan and Hawks fans were silly for thinking we had a chance. LOVE IT!
Dawg just fast forward to 3:04:00

I got nose bleeds around half court for under $200 but I literally bought mine the moment Trae sunk the FTs

Two takeaways.
Giannis continues to seem to shrink too often from the big moment.
And the BudBall we once knew seems non-existent in MIL.
Giannis completely folded. 1v1 on James Harden and takes a fadeaway midrange. There’s also supposed to be “beef”. Just a soft play in a big moment. Also fumbled a pass that would’ve led to the game tying dunk. I was very disappointed watching this and start to understand why he never goes far in the playoffs. Giannis is a Robin mentally...

I don’t understand the gap between the 2. Luka is bigger and the better rebounder, but beyond that they’re equally impactful.
