DM is a very good player. He just plays like the other players on the team behind Trae. Trae's shots are down and DM stats are going up the last few games playing like a shooting guard. Quin has to scheme to fit around them. Our parts are not right and dont sync. I will give Trae credit for trying to adjust. If we go rebuild I believe Trae will ask for a trade. FO is aware of this. They want to acquire KAT but we will see what happens at the deadline to impact summer.

I just think we are a mess. We have never really been on Star level free agents, nobody at that level wants to play in Atlanta, it's a terrible franchise and has been since Ted Turner sold out. The draft, hell we have blown it every time it's ridiculous.

I feel a little different about the Falcons and Belichick than you. Arthur Smith has done nothing but hire coordinators that every single one has been a failure. I like Harbaugh better, but I'll take Belichick who has been there and done it for many years. It may not work out but at least it's a step up from hiring media hyped assistants that are not head coach material.

Ressler has said to the front office he is not paying the LT is this team don't have a chance to win big. Problem is like Arthur Blank has done to the Falcons, he has caused this problem himself. That I don't know. They started out wanting to get a player to compete for the playoffs. The found that Hunter and capela really wasn't gonna get anything in return. Then they starting losing games and fell back. All the sudden they have won a couple games after that meltdown at home with Washington. I don't think it changes strategy but the price to get Murray has gotten higher.

Good points. I would add he said get to the rim, we don't do that. We keep jacking 3's. Its a losing proposition unless you have great 3 pt shooters. Bogi and Trae are out best but not at the top. Big guy on Orlando was taking his time and draining 3s last night for Orlando.

I disagree here Diesel. Reason the big leads go away we keep jacking threes with 15 secs or more left on the shot clock. Its basic lack of basketball IQ and every single player does it.

What I saw last night. There is no player, well maybe DJ and Bogi to an extent beyond Trae that can get their own shot. We do not try to play defense; I watch shot after shot from the wing that wasn't defended. I watched layups by Orlando that our guys were still at the free throw line watching them go by. We didn't box out most of the time. Bey should be on the bench. We are missing talent, length, and basketball IQ on this team. We are extremely physically weak and get pushed around. JJ is a finesse 3 that can dunk and get out and run. Capella is way too slow. I can't believe Garrison Mathews is playing over AJ, I know we've discussed his issues in this thread, but Mathew's talent is not there, I guess he hustles. I think Bruno needs more run, why is he not playing, at least he goes to the rim and rebounds. Whew............fire away.

I wanted Barrett in the draft and then by trade. I'm not sure how Portland feels about him, but I guess that ship has sailed.
