I did not know this. I like this guy more and more. Him with Zaza would be a good blend as BUs. 2nd Squad.... Teague, Crawford, Mo, DA, Zaza..... I think if you replace Mo with Chillz this is arguably one of the best 2nd teams in the league. Assuming Teague develops which I believe he will.

I agree and disagree. Agree that Woody might not be right mentor for our young maturing players. But I completely disagree that Josh will not mature into a smarter player. We depended on Josh for offense that we will no longer need. Josh has good playoff experience now, as well as Al and Marvin, and these young players can only get better and smarter. He could even end up developing a shot, who knows. It's happened to bad shooters before and Josh actually does have a decent stroke- just really bad percentage. But my point is that smarts comes with experience as much as anything.

I would take Bass over DA in a new york minute. Not to offend anyone because I do like DA- but for this team, an extra bruiser would be a nice bonus.

God I would love to get Andersen AND Chillz , and say bye to Mo.

Gooden would be a nice pickup. Even if we get zaza back (which i think we will), we still will need another big.

So how much is Bibby worth? Just wondering what you guys/gals thought? One might say that he is not Jason Kidd (which is true) and therefore shouldn't receive as lucrative of a contract. On the other hand, one might say that Bibby (aside from rebounds and assists) brings many of the things that Kidd does to his team. I am a JK fans as much as the next, but its impossible not to see that he is on the down more that the up.

Why u say that? If Houston signs ariza, they would only be able to use MLE probably. And they were the main threat I believe. We would gladly match that. IMO it is too early to tell.

Hell no. Just thinking about our options. Zaza is arguably our most important FA to lock up. I was assuming Davis as a BU forward. But not for 6 mill. a year.

I'll keep my first round pick thank you. Not worth giving up for 1 or maybe 2 years of Camby. Don;t get me wrong, I think camby would be great for this team as do I think Childress would be a great addition to the clipps. Let try and do 2nd rounder instead???

Foster wouldn't be bad as a last resort. Not really keen on anyone else from that list.

We competed with Cavs, Lakers, Orlando, and Boston last season (until playoffs) but none theless. None of them have gotten better except MAYBE Cavs. None of you would of picked orlando to go to the finals this year - don't even try and lie about that. Im not saying im just sayin...... We would be substantially better next season with this lineup. No doubt. Sometimes I think people on here are like Randy Quaid from Major League. They just like to be unrealistically negative to start arguments. Wake up.....your hawks are a good team a few moves away from being a REALLY good team.

Anyone who has watched the Hawks the last couple of years knows what Zaza has brought to the team. There are going to be some good teams that offer him a contract this off season. Now more than ever, with good BU centers slim to none, I think it is time to show Zaza how much we would like him back here in atlanta. Why should he want to play here for the same amount of money he could be earning with a top contender. I think the players read these blogs more than we think so now is your time to speak your mind.

Stupidity annoys me. Bringing back zaza, marvin, and bibby + adding teague and crawford AND MCDYESS makes us as good as boston, orlando, and even the cavs. This would make us instant contenders. I just don't see this happening unless rockets lay off zaza and Mcdyess just really likes atlanta......

Also, we need Marvin. If he walks, we will regret it. Mo Evans is not starter quality, neither is Childress. And Joe at SF leaves our backcourt vulnerable.
