One thing we did not do this off season was get a back-up pg. We need one.

I don't think Joe will leave. We will have to give him a max contract, but with his Bird rights and the success of the Hawks, I would imagine he would decide to return. If he did leave Crawford is in no way a replacement for Joe. He would, however, be our starting sg.

Joe was a black hole all night. He took way too many shots, over-dribbled, and refused to swing the ball. But all is forgiven after the 4th quarter and overtime. He was amazing down the stretch.

You cannot sit Horford for 16 min. because he picked up a second foul half way through the first quarter. You play him and risk him getting a third, and then sit him the rest of the half if he picks up the third. Not having Horford for all of the third period hurt.

I think this is the more important question. There is no excuse; all the games should be in HD. Basketball in HD>>>>>>>than basketball in standard definition. I have NBA league pass and many of the hawks games are broadcast by the opposing teams network in HD. Of course, there is a local blackout so I have to watch our crappy standard definition broadcast. It makes no sense. Even Oklahoma City broadcasts all their games in HD. Atlanta broadcasting 90% in standard definition is absurd.

I really don't want to see Crawford at the point, I would much rather have a true pg such as Arroyo. Moreover, we do not know if Teague will be able to back up Bibby from the get go. It would be nice to have some security. Best case scenario, Teague proves he is capable of backing up Bibby, and Arroyo becomes our 3rd string pg.

I'm going. I didn't find out untill after I bought the tickets that the game was not at Philips Arena.

I would love to get Arroyo as our back-up pg. It is the one position that we have not filled. While Crawford can play pg, he is not a pg.

That line-up played a grand total of 47 minutes together. I wouldn't draw any grand conclusions from that.
