If TOR wins at CHA, Hawks will be #11 in the East, and deservedly so.

every time it's the same story, they play well for 40 minutes and then the meltdown. What's happening with this team??? Not over yet of course but... Jesus...

Good first half. Let's see if they can keep it up. Go Hawks!

My goodness. Hali just posted a 27 point, 15 assist, 0 turns in the IST semis.

I think Hali wasn't drafted because he doesn't really have Hawks DNA.

Yeah that scrub Schlenk really did us in. Such a scammer. He even made coach Bud leave.

Yeah, sure, but should we stay the course if/when we fail to even make the play-in?

Honestly, I'm not one to advocate for a rebuild unless I can't see anything happening that can make the team better. You will find posts from me complaining about Schlenk not extending a contract for 30 y.o. Millsap when the team was decaying after the ECF loss against Bron's Cavs. That team wasn't very good after Horf quit on us, but at least they played with a lot of grit. I don't see it now. The team is really soft and to me there are a bunch of players that don't look very interested in getting any better. And we're getting older. CC and Bogi will be "gone" sooner rather than later. I'm very frustrated with the team and the direction it's going right now. We can barely beat the Pistons and the Generals, er... Wizards, I mean. Where do we go from here?

1. I don't know. Even top picks in bad years could be total busts. The way I see it, we are doomed to be mid for the foreseeable future if we just continue to do what has been done for the last few years. One could argue that its still a young team with Trae and Murray, but I can't see this team getting much better unless one of them (or both) is sent elsewhere. Once in a blue moon they play well together, and even so chances are we lose because of our D. I don't know. This team is build wrong IMHO. We should try and recoup some of the draft assets we sent away. 2. No. After the Luka-Trae trade I have absolutely NO faith in anyone drafting for the Hawks but even a broken clock is right twice a day, so maybe they can get it right in the next few years. Who knows?

I wish we had. That trade might have set us back an entire decade. But it is what it is.

I don't think we're in position to even make the play-in if we continue to play this "defense" every single game. Something has to give. Whether a total rebuild dealing both Trae and Murray for 3-4 firsts plus bad salary or a retool getting rid of one of them plus some combination of Hunter/Bey/AJ for a decent big + pick, I don't know. This roster isn't capable to guard anyone. Boring games with boring endings, I'm sick of seeing we get pummeled in the paint. OO, btw, will NEVER be a decent 5. He can go as well, I don't mind.

How much longer before we start over? This team is boring as hell. Other than JJ, I would be willing to deal them all.

Hawks might be the most unclutch team in the History of the NBA... losing 99-98 at the end of the 3rd, then this...

Well I don't see any way of getting much better really fast. It that is the case, Hawks should be thinking about trading him to the West coast for a king's ramson while Trae is still happy in the A. Just saying.

At this point, everyone already knows Hawks are going nowhere this season. They might even not make the play-in, so no one is surprised anymore with the pile of crap they're watching nowadays. -

GO HAWKS! I think we're pretty much screwed for the season without JJ, but still. At least Dre has awakened from his deep sleep. -
Thank you! Yeah, we're kinda used to the heat during spring and summer where I iive, but it's been a little bit hotter for the last 10 days or so. Hopefully the heat wave will be over soon.
