  1. I beginning to think the Hawks like to play from behind.
  2. Honestly, I don't think we are mediocre anymore. We are just bad, now. Let's start chanting... "WAKE UP, HAWKS!!!"
  3. My thoughts exactly. Generally on a motion offense, I thought at least most of players are moving at the same time, which will confuse the defense and make them work harder.
  4. That's one of the problems. Collectively, they play no defense, especially in the paint. They make other teams look unstoppable. What about rebounding? The Hawks don't attempt to get a rebound unless it lands directly in their hands. When someone shoots, they literally become spectators or everyone runs back down the court. The Hawks really need to put their personal issues aside and get it together. Honestly, these men have been playing basketball for too long to play as pitiful as they are playing now. Middle schoolers play with more passion and instinct than the Hawks. Off topic, I want to see more of Jordan Crawford. He needs more experience.
  5. I think the best thing that can happen is that the entire team, especially that starting five, take a long look at themselves and say 'We have been playing like crap and it must stop'. Honestly, the embarassing defeat to the Bucks should have a wake up call, but evidently it was not.
  6. If that's the case, someone is in need of intervention because this is just humiliating.
  7. I don't understand all the criticism about Marvin. I think when he is giving it his very best. I like Marvin. I love Al, but Al seems just a little awkward when he guarding outside the paint.
  8. I totally agree, and I'm highly pissed off. Evidently, they have a problem somewhere. It showed up in the 2nd half of the last season and in the playoffs, and it certainly showed up tonight. Can't they set aside your differences and played like a professional basketball team especially in front of the people that are supporting you? This was horrible.
  9. I actually witnessed the mess; I actually wanted to vomit. I'm still pissed off.
  10. Tonight's game was horrible. 3rd Quarter, they just quit playing. They were not running any offense, or defense. All five men on the court were doing there own thing when they got the ball. I'm very upset. $4,000 + a seat and they just quit playing. I don't throw my hands up and quit when things are not going my way. I don't have a problem with losing, but at least give it your best effort. The Hawks just quit tonight (in the 3rd quarter.) Maybe they improved later, but I left because they were atrocious. $4,000 a seat, smh, I hope this is not what I have to look forward to for the next 40 games.
  11. I agree. He is playing the poise and maturity. However, I have to admit, when he sets himself to make a long range shot, for some reason I automatically hold my breath. LOL. LET'S GO HAWKS!!!!
  12. These commentators are a joke. They are not impressived with a team winning, however, if Lebron James/Dewayne Wade/Chris Bosh fart, they have an orgasm. We need to put them on ignore. LET'S GO HAWKS!!!
  13. I think the Hawks are trying to utilize the bench more so they will have depth in the bench when we play tougher opponents. I think that's good. As far as Joe, I think he is not performing up to his potential maybe he is trying to run an offense, and he is trying to spread the scoring out. I think he will definitely perform to his potential at some point. As far as the criticism, (I love the Hawks, and Joe is a Hawk), I really think that it is because of the 120 million dollar contract. To whom much is given; much is expected. Do we expect a Kia Sportage to perform the same way as a Hummer? No, I am expecting a little bit more, well, honestly, I expecting a whole lot more. Secondly, I know he was frustrated and I think I understood what he meant, but his end of the year locker room "interview" is still fresh on the minds of many fans. Honestly, I think Joe needs a real publicist. Not that his image is bad, but honestly he really doesn't have one other than being a basketball player. Some players when they play their personality shows like Al (likeable) and Josh (LOL).
  14. Honestly, I think the Hawks are using a pretty good strategy, by utilizing the bench when we are playing "less threatening" teams. Honestly, a win is win. Afterall, looks as if this year, we will have a huge problem with injuries therefore the bench has to be ready when called. Let's Go Hawks!!!
