This final 'pole' list will be so much fun...I'll add 'Jab jab jab jab jabber step'
Man, I forgot about his jab,jab then only to shoot a jumper, lol. How about Jeffery's lazy feet shuffle when being the ball up. I would always yell "pick your feet up you lazy bum".

Dwight highlights versus ATL last season.
LMAO. At 1:49 Babycakes is about to clap after Dwight's dunk.

Don't really have a player(tho Horford is well on his way)but I do have flawed tendencies by Hawk players that drove me insane. Josh Smith's bone headed plays takes the cake. Then it's JJ's lazy jumper followed by what I now know was the early signs of Babycakes syndrome.... Horford 's hand clapping after a missed shot was funny and troubling at the same time.

I saw this as well. This move will not make the Hawks better. Plus I'm pretty sure Westbrook won't want to come here without Millsap.

I can't even remember the last time a Hawk player said this. Feels good to have someone finally have a TRUE love for our city.

Wow,so this guy was worried about free agency. Now I'm mad, this guy was worried about his destination instead of showing up in the playoffs. Smh. Good riddance.

Have anyone notice that the Celtics are "contenders" now that they've Baby Cakes? We've had more talent with him yet the Hawks we're never considered contenders....... somethings never change.

No Teague. No Horford. This isn't a rebuild, it's a new era in Hawks basketball. Won't be surprised if a Superstar comes to Atlanta to come play with Howard and Millsap . The Hawks are starting to build their own super squad. Oh, and if you don't think the Hawks won't resign Millsap after he took a hometown discount the first time and got even better, they will and they should. I like this breath of fresh air we have. No one is here from the Woody, JJ and Smith era any longer. The new era has officially begun.

Sorry Al. You jumped the gun. Now, it will be hard to get loose
and join Golden State. Ah, well. Such is life.
No Cleveland and no Golden State. Enjoy all your Celtic fans.
I wonder if Boston convinced Baby Cakes that KD would join him.....bwahahaha.

LMAO. Horford is getting roasted on here. Now that he's in Boston, his new nickname will be Baby Cakes.
Should have known he was leaving. The funny thing is I didn't see one story about Horford trying to recruit his friend Noah. Even if the Hawks won't pay him that money, it still would have shown the interest to stay.
Now he blaming everyone around him about the decision? Just man up and say "I wanted to move on to a place where I didn't have to be the "guy" anymore."
-
He's going to wait until free agency play out to decide. The Hawks are one of the teams asking for his services.

Gotta bring back Humphries.

Well. He wasn't lying about that though... Atlanta being what it is, half the stadium ain't even from Atlanta and will only root for the Hawks and Falcons on a consistent basis when they start winning big and have superstars.
Bingo! That's the Atlanta sports culture it seems like. Winning isn't enough, it has to be done by Superstar's. Since this is a transplant city in order to fill the stadium Atlanta needs Superstars to draw in the SO MANY non team supporters, aka casual fans that live in Atlanta.

This team WILL be better. When the Hawks shots aren't falling, we can finally dump it inside or pick and roll with a rim finisher .... something Al wasn't. That's just the offense. The defense has already took a step up with true rim protection. Another thing people forgot is Howard back in the east, last time he was here he dominated.
I saw a comment on Peachtree hoops that said D12 was 108th in touches per game...... SMH.

We've seen what an pick and pop guy can do in this offense, let's see what a pick and roll guy can do.
-
Oh well, keep it moving. All this is telling me is that Horford was hurt that the Hawks didn't make him the top priority. He probably thought at 12am on the dot the Hawks would call with a max contact in hand.....well,they didn't . The Hawks signed D12 and Baze. This was the plan the whole time. Everyone wants to talk about Bud's offense but think about this.... How many times did the Hawks hit a wall on offense cause the shot wasn't falling?, so they dumped the ball down low to Al.We all know how that often ended up. Many times if Horford 's shot wasn't falling he wan't going to be an impact on offense. We have the perfect stretch 4 in Millsap, and now we have a true center to fit. Besides the Pick and Roll will be more affective with Howard than Horford....why? Because D12 CAN finish at the rim. Horford was a pick and pop guy.
With that said. Thank you Horford for your time and contributions to the Hawks.

I just want to add that it's one thing to have big nights some nights and it's another thing to carry the offensive load every night.
I think we all can agree that Harden isn't the best team player... But I also think Howard often lacks the effort. Not to mention that his offensive game is still extremely raw despite being in the league so long. I'm just skeptical that he is going to consistently play at an elite level when he hasn't done it in years.
Hopefully I'm wrong... And if I am, I'll admit it.
Wasn't his game raw in Orlando?

Schröder is about to have pretty good assist numbers with those easy pick and roll lobs.
Plus not to mention the extra possessions from constant rebounding. His defense at the rim will trigger what the Hawks love to do and is also the best when they do it...... that's fast break.

I'm pretty sure the Hawks told Howard that he would be utilized similar to how Orlando. People are going to eat a lot of crow when this works.

D12 and the Hawks
in Homecourt
Posted
I was pumped when I heard the rumor around the trade deadline. A homegrown superstar is what this franchise needed. WHEN D12 starts dominating again and before he is named a starter for the Eastern All-star team, I expect many sellouts. On top of that I expect other Superstars that will want to team up him. This was not only a great basketball pick up but also a great business move as well.
