Probably keep them open for G-Leagues or something like that (just kidding) But I can understand about some of the frustrations that most of the folks in here. Are we trying to win the championships or just selling tickets and merchs Dont get me wrong, I know that FO had alot of tough decisions this offseason with John and Murrary and others but what is the end game here. If you look at this roster, this team is a definition of a treadmill team (Good enough to get to the playoffs and get ousted in the first round but not bad enough to go to the lottery). I want to hope that this team can surprised and get to the Finals but right now, this is team it is not it.

So that means, it is not going to happen. But the owners got what they wanted, they don't have to pay the tax and we still have a team that might still get into the playoffs (play-in tho). I know that and everybody wants to get it right as well but everything is a process to make it right. It might happen or might not. But this is crazy season for trades and FA pickups. Right now we still have two outstanding trades right now and it could be prelude to a bigger trade (I know that 100% that Rudy Gay will not be in a Hawks uniform) plus we have to move Capella and other pieces. Let them cook!

We are close to that line beside if we are not then why we are talking about it. Besides if it is not then we just have fun with players that we want. You just need to take it easy and see what happens and dont sweat the small stuff. Remember all of the trades that we did is not finalized yet and other stuff as well. So just sit back and enjoy the ride no matter what the destination is.

I let you in on a little secret here that we got over 45 Members browsing but in reality maybe more since most of those guys will not log in and most of them will have scouts or other folks that will give them information to them second-hand. For all of the stuff you talk about, I dont see any solutions or ideas that the Hawks can do to make you happy (I think you were like this too during our ECF run and 60-win season). I think you just hate this team.

Yeah, I can understand that now, sometimes you have to make the toughest choices to get what you want. John was a good player that left it on the court each and every game, part of me would love for him to stay as a Hawk for a long time but you need flexibility in this NBA world now. Like I say, NBA is going to down to two schools of building teams. The Phoenix way and the Denver way. I dont know which path they will choose but Denver way is much more accessible than Phoenix way.

I would think that the Spurs would fund the deal for some picks
