Hey @terrell I have a question for you and be serious about this. Do you hate Trae this much? Between you and @NBASupes and others going after him, I swear that the Atlanta Hawks is owned and pay for by Trae Young. Sure, he might getting on the wrong side of many battles and yes I want him to be a better leader but at least he is trying to do better on defense this year and he is doing everything to win but it is everybody who mess up from the top to the bottom even us fans (we should encourage them not crap on them) So I was looking at Dragonball Z today and this character is so much like you (and no it is not Yamacha). @TRW, There is no team would give up any assets for Trae, even if he wanted a trade. He has the Rookie Max contact and there is not too teams that have anybody with that. Trae is not going anywhere but its NBA, anything can happen!

Yeah, it feels like he did not want to coach this team but now we can see if they can savage the season (it is not going to be easy). They should look at Hammon anyway

Knowing @shakes, he will probably trade Trae for Westbrick and 5 second rounders. But as this team goes, I got a bad feeling that this team will not be in the play-in either and there has to be a nice voice in that locker room that is going to get to Trae, DM and others to play to their strengths and we have to trade as well.

So that means, we will do nothing for the trade deadline and I kinda understand besides we are still 8th place (in the play-in) but we cant do anything until offseason

So right now, most of the moves we can make is during the offseason but I think we should keep JC unless there is a offer that is going to help us out

I think Capella and Ayton is going to be part of that package but there is going to be a snag.

Yeah I think will be the biggest question if the Ayton/Clint trade happens, but lets say that trade doesn't happen, is John is going to be on this team after trade deadline?

But do you think @Sothron that OKC is going to get up Giddey for OO even know that they are in the playoff hunt and still have their treasure trove of picks?

But I have a few questions about that information. 1. So what is the percent that John will be in Hawks Uniform past the trade deadline? 2. What made Ressler finally decided to go into the Luxury Tax mode? 3. Outside of that, what else should we be keeping our eyes on in the next few weeks? I know that TV deal is stilling getting work on and that expansion will happen, but Vegas is not a lock in anymore (Mexico City is gaining alot of stream right now with Seattle)

@noble First of all, thank you for coming here and sharing your news with us. But here is the question (s) of the day and you can answer this. 1. Why should the Hawks trade Trae for, yes, this team has alot of issues, but this team is still in the playoff hunt, so why trade your best player for? 2. What kind of package can they even bring in, they don't have their first-round pick (going to the Knicks) and there are no players on the Mavs is going to till the needle better for the Hawks. 3. I was thinking that Trae and Luka cant be on the same team because of the Rookie Max contract (I dont know if that is right or wrong, help me out Cap Experts) At the end of the day, Trae is going to stay, no matter if he like it or not because there is too much money, picks and time invested in him plus with all of those picks that Spurs will get will become straight gold-mine.

@OldTimeHawk I think you are way off-base with that and its too much to say about that so I move it on First of all, I think Trae is a Hawk for life no doubt about it but the one thing I think people is forgetting that he just got that new contract, he is a new father, and alot more responsibilities as face of the Hawks. Sometimes, he might be trying too hard and not paying attention to many things. Sometimes, i wish he does not do three-point bombs all of the time but it is part of his game that he can use that as a weapon to get into the paint. Yeah, we do need a soft reset after this season, but I think that Trae will be fine and want to represent us for rest of his career.
