Peoria, you cant have your cake and eat it too. If you develop talent, it is going to take a while and your record is going to reflect that. If you trade for talent, then you give up depth and cheap talent. Sure you are going to the playoffs but it is not going to get you to the Finals. Right now, this new CBA is having alot of teams between a rock and a hard place right now. This team is very flawed right now and, on a timetable, because if we do the development, Trae may not want that and he will be asking for a trade. For me, I will not do the Siakam trade but I will be looking for key pieces elsewhere

Yeah I think we should move on from the Raptors and move on to other teams besides them besides they will be hurting when they lose Siakam for nothing.

I am hoping that you are feeling better @Sothron, As somebody who had his elbow replace and other surgeries, I know that you are going through alot of pain and I hope you are feeling better. With all of the trades and still having that 25m TPE, hopefully a couple of roster spots and waiting for official trade for Mills and decision on Bruno. I think we will make a major trade.

I am not defending anything; I know that this business is all about rumors and rumors. I have a good relationship with somebody who was in the Sonics FO during the waning years before they move to OKC (if they get a team back, I would love to work for them). He told me that "That you will be hearing all type of rumors and ideas thrown around all the time". Some of them is true while others are not. We just need to have patience and see what happened. Because of this is a disservice to the insiders who is putting their contacts and friendship on the line to give us something to chew on while we wait for the regular season to start. Most of the Mavs fans was thinking that TMJ/McGee will be send here for Capella, so maybe we can redirect them to T'Wolves with Mills/one of our youngers and one pick for KAT. I dont know if that would be the case.

Probably keep them open for G-Leagues or something like that (just kidding) But I can understand about some of the frustrations that most of the folks in here. Are we trying to win the championships or just selling tickets and merchs Dont get me wrong, I know that FO had alot of tough decisions this offseason with John and Murrary and others but what is the end game here. If you look at this roster, this team is a definition of a treadmill team (Good enough to get to the playoffs and get ousted in the first round but not bad enough to go to the lottery). I want to hope that this team can surprised and get to the Finals but right now, this is team it is not it.

So that means, it is not going to happen. But the owners got what they wanted, they don't have to pay the tax and we still have a team that might still get into the playoffs (play-in tho).
