No threes though. Just get a nice, dependable midrange jumper like Horf had when he was here.
I'd like that too. I just want to see what he and Capela can do together on the court without them clogging the lanes on offense.

Man if Onyeka could work on stretching his range out... watchout.

I think Jerome retired and Glenn just wasn't brought back.

Shiiiitttt 80 mil! Who does he think he is!
He's playing really good in a contract year.

It's looking more and more likely that we may have to wait until the offseason to make any major splash. I think at most, we'll make a few tweaks here and there depending on our performance leading into the deadline.

What does the Mavs have that we would want? Id take Brunson but thats about it...
Brunson wants 4 years, $80 million in the offseason.
The Mavericks don't really have assets that intrigue me to trade Collins for. Hard pass on them.

I dunno... Might not be all roses and sunshine. Trae had nothing for Cam at the end of the game:

Lol, y'all are reading too much into this.

There's no college player that's gonna come in and cure what ails this team. Good lord, yall.
The asset is the pick itself. Combined with some guys on the team, we can flip it for a win now player.

We should probably do a soft tank and look towards next year.
This makes the most sense. A la the Warriors from '19-'20 to '20-'21.

Bogi's value is decreasing day by day.
Gallo has great trade value right now... but he's one of our best shooters.
In the offseason, Gallo goes to minimum trade value.. Be best to keep him...
and Bogi is probably untradable.
Gallo would be an expiring contract at $20 million (if a team opts not to buy him out for $5 million). That's a very valuable trade piece especially if you attach some picks to it in the offseason. And Especially if we're going to be picking in the top 10 this year as well.

This is going to be another big test for Onyeka going up against Giannis and Portis. I just wish he would stop fouling so much because he leaves an impact whenever he's on the court.

I’d rather just punt this season, and try to improve the team in the offseason.

Im actually ready for Baseball to start... smh...... Go Braves!
That won't be happening anytime soon. I think the lockout could go into the summer, tbh.

They won't do it, but Nate needs to be let go. There are other issues as well. But he isn't doing anything to help this team. In fact I believe his coaching is making it worse.
They'll probably reevaluate it in the off-season, but Nate has got to find a way to turn this thing around. I've been spending the last couple days watching Jabari Smith highlights, lol.

Nate should've left Okongwu in. He deserved that chance.

I actually enjoyed the tanking years more than this season. The high expectations are what's making this season so frustrating. I think we all expected a leap forward after last season's postseason experience. I honestly thought the level of defense and the discipline they played with on both ends was going to be the norm this season. I was wrong.
They took that run for granted and thought that it would be an easy ride to the playoffs this year. That's the wrong mentality to have. I don't blame them though, since the majority of this team is young and still developing. I just want to see what direction we go in for the rest of the season.

Refusing to and can’t do it are two different things. Standing there daydreaming while your man goes back door on you for a layup is not a knee issue.
Yeah I'm not excusing the day dreaming part. I'm talking about when he's actually trying, he looks so slow trying to cover his man laterally.

He was still supporting the summer league guys by showing up and watching the games.
Never would've known that he wanted out at this time. Unfortunate, but we must move on.

Standing still and refusing to guard anyone is not a symptom of a sore knee.
If you can't move laterally that well, a knee issue could be the reason.

Here's what I got:
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y7jbwlcw
I don't know how to make it appear but I believe it makes people happy.
We give Indy 2 first round picks. They also get Tobias Harris.
We give Philly Bogi and Gallo. They also get Lamb and Sabois
We get Simmons and Korkmaz.
Why does Philly do it... They get Sabonis and Gallo and Bogi... All the star power they could want.
Why does Indy do it? The picks. Like it or not Indy is rebuilding and firesaling. Harris plus Turner is also a good fit.
Why do we do it. Simmons and Korkmaz.. Korkmaz will help with shooting off the bench.
Philly wouldn't do it because Embiid and Sabonis operate in the same space (Low Post).

Maybe the reason for Bogi's decline in defense this year is because his knee still isn't healthy:
This probably guarantees we see Lou or Skylar get some minutes.

I feel dirty for anything Celts related but here goes: a deal around Marcus Smart+ for Bogi to upgrade the point of attack defense.
That's another option, but Marcus is really struggling with his shot this season.
What are some deadline deals that you think can help this team now and into the future?
