Hope the Hawks preseason loss column follow them to the regular season like what happened to the Falcons this year... One preseason win that was a last second floater by Dennis against the BOBCATS is turrible ( Charles Barkley voice ).

FYI, the Charlotte pick doesn't lose protection until 2016, it's protected top 10 in 14', top 8 in 15'. Yea, GMs have known about this draft and Wiggins for ages.

Has there ever been a ROY that played from the bench? Teague has been healthy all these years for us and I don't think that'll change. Schröder will be good for us, but it'll take a massive performance from the bench to get that. When Lou gets back, that'll all but kill Schröder's chances at getting ROY.
He will only be on the bench half the year ;) Teague is gone in January.

When KD becomes a free agent: Houston's salary - Dwight 23 mil/Harden 16 mil/Parsons will probably get signed to at least 8-10 mil/plus there cap holds. Where can they SIGN him as a free agent? Even without Parsons they'll be at 50mil.
Jalen has been just throwing crap recenlty - like Jordan will suit up and play a game with the Bobcats this season. MJ would have to sell the team b4 he can play.
Only if he wants to play for more than one game.

They really think Detroit will be able to run Drummond, Monroe, Smoove in the front court in crunch time... They also said J Brick is a top 10 forward at SF or PF. Did these idiots ever watch a Hawks game the previous 9 years? Sure he filled up the stat sheet, but let's be real. These dudes are sipping on some koolaid saying the Pistons are the 12th best team in the league. This is laughable.

Horford is by far my favorite player and the franchise is now centered around him... However the trade proposal from Grantland makes a lot of sense. We would have to take on Boozer's contract until next year... However they have Charlotte's first and their own floating out there. If we could get both pics ( magically ) I would do this trade. Charlotte's pick is a guaranteed top 5.

Yea let's be honest, these Hawks may be decent and make the playoffs as usual. But nothing to get excited about, 5-6 seed at best with a first round loss. Yay!

Josh will not be missed... Paul Millsap is an upgrade. It's like Josh is a stock Ford Ranger with a 4 cylinder engine while Paul Millsap is a souped up S10 with a big block. If you catch my drift.

Just ridiculous... Lower than the Bucks! We drastically improved from last year. No doubt in my mind we should be at least #14-15. We will make the playoffs for the 7th straight year.

When Horford got on the floor last season, though, the Hawks realized quickly they had nothing to worry about.
The 27-year-old submitted the best season of his career last year. In 74 games he averaged a phenomenal 17.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals in 37.2 minutes per game
while shooting 54.3 percent from the floor. He was unquestionably the most reliable player for Atlanta on both ends of the floor.The developers
of the upcoming NBA 2K14 don’t seem to recognize the value or the talent of Horford, though. As Operation Sports released a video showing the player ratings for the game, we found out that Horford is rated at just an 82. He’s still the highest-rated player on the Hawks, as he should be, but he’s not getting the respect in his all-around game that he deserves.For starters, Horford’s inside offense is rated at just a B. He may not be an A+, but I feel like a player with Horford’s array of post-moves and a player that shot 70.3 percent from inside of five feet last season like Horford did deserves a much better rating than just a B in that department.
Moreover, Horford’s interior defense and rebounding are graded at just a B+. In this case, it’s not as poor of a rating as his inside offense grade, but it still feels a bit off. Horford was incredibly effective on defense for Atlanta
last season, with the Hawks playing 1.3 points per 100 possessions better defensively with Horford on the floor. More than that, his rebounding was a key factor in how the Hawks ran their show last season.There are quite a few ratings in NBA 2K14 that are bit puzzling.
