He will bring us a ton of fans. There is a large Asian population in Metro Atlanta and I can tell you from experiences that they love their Asians athletes... Especially ones that are borderline "stars". Hype or not... Bad contract or not. Ferry needs to make this deal happen. Clever marketing.

Only brought him in for Dwight... He's virtually useless now.
-
He hasn't finalized his decision yet.

Atlanta's roster could look barren, but where it is in regard to the other suitors is probably being overlooked.
Al Horford is signed through the 2015-16 season, and putting Howard alongside another All-Star big man would immediately give the Hawks one of the most dangerous front lines in the NBA. After all, Budenholzer has first-hand experience working with two big men in the post. He joined the San Antonio Spurs as an assistant in 1996, a year before the Twin Towers era of Tim Duncan and David Robinson began.
Additionally, the Hawks have perimeter scorer Lou Williams in tow for another two seasons, and will sign deadeye shooter Kyle Korver to a four-year deal.
It's a lot of info we already know but we cannot give up on this yet Hawks fans, there's still a chance.

I'm so tired of Dwight's garbage and the media knows how to stay relevant in an offseason by reporting every idea that comes into their minds...Cant wait til D12 picks his team so we can move on...
True, hope he picks tomorrow.

Dwight Howard respects Jose Calderon's game, per a source. He thinks they'd play well together since Calderon is a good facilitator/shooter.
It's no coincidence that when Dwight Howard to Houston rumors started heating up, there was a subsequent Jeremy Lin for Jose Calderon rumor.

This is the best Bleacher Report article I've read in a long time.

If Josh Smith were required to attack the basket, post up or pass the ball on every single possession, he'd be one of the 10 best players in the NBA. He has that much physical and defensive talent.
However, Smoove has this strange notion that he's a top-tier jump-shooter ingrained in his brain, no matter how many times Philips Arena showers him with groans when he clanks another shot off the back of the rim.
Assuming your stomach has recovered from viewing Monta Ellis' shot chart, take a look at Josh Smith's, once more courtesy of Basketball-Reference.com. It's even uglier!
At least Ellis' red Xs fall behind the three-point arc, rather than populating the area of the court notorious for low efficiency. The long two-pointer is the worst shot in basketball, and yet it's the one that Smoove likes the most.
It's unacceptable for a player as physically talented as Smith to shoot over 300 times from 16 to 23 feet over the course of a single season, especially when he makes only 32.9 percent of the attempts.

We have no use for both Smoove and Dre... One or the other, neither will take $10 mill a year anyways.
-
Im just not sure if we can afford him and josh now after Korvers new deal.
We should have enough.
-
I personally think it will be Dre and Bynum if no Howard.
-
Its Houston or ATL in my mnd.
Mine as well, we have the edge if he wants to play with Smoove. We can just troll Houston the rest of the way because they cannot sign both Howard and Smoove, would need us to sign and trade him to them
Houstons GM be like ---> with Ferry every hour.

Sources close to Howard tell me Kobe's reported pitch in Tuesday's meeting about teaching D12 how to win will be a "complete turnoff" to D12
-
Dwight Howard's decision is preventing other moves. A lot of FAs are considering HOU, ATL, DAL, etc. but those teams are in holding pattern.
-
Bring him on! Reunite the Gators!

No worries... just tied of merging topics after 11 years of it, but it's all good. Thanks for trying to break the info to us.

I literally didn't even see it apparently. Sorry.

Al Jefferson is heading to Charlotte on three-year deal worth estimated$41 million with opt out after Year 2, sources tell ESPN
Now ya'll can shut up about Al Jefferson. We must now focus on Bynum.
-
This may not mean anything, then again it could... I guess we will find out within the next few days or so.
-
Excellent signing there. Great job Ferry!

If the Rockets fail to sign Dwight Howard, they may look at trading for LaMarcus Aldridge or Al Horford. (ESPN)
Could Ferry be shopping Horford or is this just some off the wall plan of theirs?

One by one we will keep seeing the free agent pool drying up. If we can't at least get a B level player I've lost hope in Ferry.
-
Dennis is the only hope I have in this franchise right now. Well Horford but he can't do it alone, get us some help Ferry!

A buddy of mine that has to ride MARTA to go virtually everywhere saw Billy Knight today on one of the trains. Wonder what he's doing around town... I know he goes to Dream games sometimes. Guess he still lives down here or something. If I saw him out somewhere I'd probably cuss him out.
BRING THE LINSANITY!
