  1. Flexibilty, splitting contract into filler since his market isn't hot. Also can be waived to save on tax at end of season.
  2. Ehh.. It's probably the best they can get.. Teams like Boston etc. had only trash to give. A FRP even though lottery protected is still good to get one in 2024 or 2023 (ideal but not likely)
  3. EPSN? Salary shedding, expirings, to get a FRP.. Glad he went west and not stayed in the east!
  4. It's Christmas around here with the Holiday Brothers!!!
  5. Man this is just gold… good old windy losing it LOL
  6. Solid solid signing. Consistent 16 minute guard with passing. On vet min is tremendous too.
  7. Legendary signing.. poor Sharife. Back to being a Skyhawks legend.
  8. Kirschner's Proposed Durant Trade: Collins, De’Andre Hunter, Okongwu, their own 2023 first-round pick, a 2024 first-round swap, a 2028 first-round swap and a 2029 first-round pick While that isn't as good as OG and Scottie, the Collins part is better than Gary Trent If Celtics are willing to part with Jaylen Brown, and Clippers are willing to send Paul George then they have high odds of receiving Durant.
  9. This is a great point. The only way Simmons is more valuable if you sacrifice way less assets, as we know Ainge only wants GODFATHER offers.
  10. A John Wall type contract situation is a real possibility with him
  11. Hope they were able to get some Embiid like provisions in this…
  12. Also keep in mind most of the time the immediate season cap isn’t as relevant as 2-3 years down the road when all the higher salaries kick in vs expect cap. That would’ve prevented Knicks from seriously pursuing Murray anyway.
  13. Where’s your table with Murray less Gallo. So Atlanta didn’t have to do anything with Gallos salary so they just took in a less expensive contract than his full guarantee
  14. OO + Hunter + Collins = Durant… Two promising young players + 20-10 guy Too much? Not considering y’all’s emotional reactions to this trade just seeing if the value works.
  15. One thing is for certain, if Nets truly want a Bam or another Rookie Star than they gotta trade Ben. I personally think the Toronto package is good with Scottie Barnes, OG, Gary Trent. Mikal Bridges and Ayton isn’t enough assets to flip if they decide to rebuild next year. Hawks offer the most flippable asset players. Toronto might offer a great package. Miami I just don’t see them having assets at all so Nets end up taking trash. Kyle Lowry is not a good return centerpiece. Its gonna be interesting on Ayton… Where in the world he gonna go if Nets reject that one. I doubt they wanna lock into that contract and not have flexibility to rebuild if they smell a stink post trade.
  16. Waking up today I’m okay with these scenarios in this order: 1. Stick with Murray Only / minor wing defensive addition - By far the best scenario 2. Adding Durant for Huerter, Collins + Capela + Hunter (only one that I’m reluctant on) 3. Adding Simmons for OO or Collins/Huerter Simmons fits better with Capela than OO as our center.
  17. I guess in the same way he advanced the Suns. CP3 only - Play-in CP3+ Booker - Semis or ECF appearance CP3 + Booker+ Ayton - Finals appearance
  18. Definitely.. damn KD put everyone on hold. If KD green lights coming to ATL then this thread gonna add another 300 pages before a trade so may as well start the sequel.. part 3
  19. lol who knows.. it’s the summer that changed everything
  20. It's crazy... Such a talent. However, since he is a bigger contract there will need to be more time like Lavine, etc. That's usually how it goes.. it take few days for those 20+ million offer sheets. Unless you're the Knicks who shoot their fireworks off on July 3rd.
  21. Don't let the Knicks FO see that please....
  22. I dunno... I know Supes is upset that SpursTalk dragged him but Carmichael isn't much better (low grade non-source). Maybe the WIZ-ARDS want us to take their trash out?
