I really think he is a perfect target for SG for this defensive lacking team.. doesn't sacrifice defense for scoring. It's just a matter of if the trade gets official because at this point it is still in the too good to be true range. I agree on the assets... There could be still enough to get Gobert or Ayton.
Gobert would take more assets but it still might be doable. I'm sure the Hawks weren't keen on sending JC to Utah anyway.
Not sure how this affects Ayton since Phoenix seemed like they wanted JC more than Capela but I think Capela for the Suns is still their best case asset out there with the Pistons looming to max him on a offer sheet forcing their hand.
Could be them selling high for more picks. Like right after Jrue left there was a calm before the storm for NOP. Also they’ve tried so many guys at PF for years.

Bruh the Trae tweet and the Dejounte tweet coming together… I bet SAS or his agent told him he might get traded to the Hawks.
thats the kinda stuff those guys would get hype about and put out tweets like that
Gobert for Capela + Huerter + 16
#4 for Collins + 2025 top 10 protected
Make it happen Schlenk else I’m prepared to be in the melt lol
Schlenk doesn’t seem like the type to receive trash (cap flexibility mantra).
The main thing against Pistons is they offer him into cap space and Phoenix matches and trades him next offseason. I get they don’t want to pay him but it is GM 101.
