  1. If Hawks and Nets do face each other in 1st round playoff.. Do you guys think that Brook Lopez size and length will give Hawks a lot problems like rebounding?

Brook Lopez is 7 footer, he's taller than Al Horford and Paul Millsap. Isaiah Thomas just said tonight on TNT that Nets will be a tough a matchup for Hawks because of Brook Lopez size and length.. Do you guys agree? Can Al Horford and Paul millsap contain and stop Brook Lopez? Will rebounding be a problem for Hawks against the Nets in the playoffs?

  2. Game against Magic today clearly showed that Hawks defense is the reason why Hawks won the game. When Hawks plays good defense their offense always comes naturally and the team is more energized to make harder cuts, moving the ball, guards penetrating harder and attacking the basket or making plays.

Fact: Reason why Hawks went 17-0 in february is because of their defense intensity. They were playing high level consistent defense and beating every elite teams on the road.

Hawks can't win games if they dont put effort on defensive end. They know they have a chance to beat any teams in the league if they play high level consistent defense.

Also, welcome back jeff teague, good to see you back!!!! he's starting to look aggresive jeff teague!!! making good quick decisions passing, making plays for his teammates and attacking  the basket, making it really look simple but deadly. His showing effort again on defensive end, playing hard on both ends of the court.

This is a turning point for Hawks, and hopefully they realized that they need to keep playing high level defense every game to have a chance to win and beat elite teams once again!

    Go Hawks Go!!!

  3. Im really worried about Jeff teague, and the hawks right now.. 3 games loss in a row.. Looks like Jeff teague just lost his fire in him, and became passive.. Bawse missing his sweet jumpers and not being consistent as he used to..  Golden State is ranked 1st now in overall rankings, and Cleveland might have a chance to get the 1st seed in the east if hawks keep playing like this...

This is not the same Hawks that we saw when they were beating every elite teams on the road and had a 19 straight game winning streak. What's wrong with hawks right now? Can they go back to the the old hot hawks that went 17-0 in one month?

Hawks were really playing at a high level, now it's like they dropped significantly, and looks like the old hawks from dark past years with horrible record.. Can hawks go back playing at a high level again? Are we just gonna keep blaming it on refs on every loss? is it team chemistry problems, injuries or consistency problem? What do you guys think?

  4. Im a big fan of both teams but i have to be honest, i was kinda dissapointed of hawks performance, Jeff teague is still being the same passive teague last 3 games, did he stop believing to Atlanta?

Im really glad that Coach Pop and Coach Bud will have a dinner date tonight, Pop could give some advice to Bud. Then, hopefully, Hawks fatigue will finally go away, and Teague will be the agressive teague that i really enjoyed watching.

  5. Looks like Pop and Bud will have a dinner date tonight!!! They are really close, and known each other for 20 years!

Then he told me him and Bud would get dinner tonight. Then asked me how to get to the court. #atl #sanantonio @ATLHawks

Talked to Coach Pop one on one after he addressed the media. Praised the humility and trust of this @ATLHawks team

Pop have a lot of respect for @ATLHAWKS

  6. Sometimes as Hawks fans, we don't appreciate things in the proper light because we haven't been exposed to it.  Being this good is really a new thing for us (and I can say that having watched the team for 30 years).  We are not going to whoop everybody, every night and we are not invincible.  There are other good teams out there and Golden State is a good team.  You don't really have to dissect this game to understand that.

This goes back to the same thing I've been echoing all year: execution and hitting shots.  We don't have a particular guy that's going to bail us out with a spectacular performance or timely clutch shots.  We do it as a team and if the individual parts aren't in sync and/or working properly...we are toast.

The big story last night was we were not executing properly AND we were missing easy looks...we can't beat them like that.  Defense (turnovers) kept us in it early, but teams that good...you can't expect to keep them bottled up.

On a positive note, we looked uncharacteristically bad out there.  I think the loss was inevitable, but the blowout happened because they were tired, they played in a difficult arena, and because we missed KK more than they missed KT.  I think they got a little too caught up in the magnitude of this game.  It was a pretty big deal.  With a little health and more focus, I think that game is way closer...maybe even a win.

The Hawks are going to learn from this and I think they'll finish the season strong.

I totally agreed on everything you said. Hawks don't have players like Stephen curry, Klay thompson, Kyrie irving, or superstar that makes 30-40 points every night. Hawks are not a 1 on 1 basketball team, they are more on team execution and ball movement. Everyone must play for each other just to have a chance to beat good teams and more talented teams like the warriors. I just hope every Hawk players are healthy by the time playoff comes.

  7. Both are tough, but my vote will go to GS because oracle arena is such a hostile environment compared to classy fans in AT&T center arena.

Also, Ginobili sprained his ankle yesterday, so im guessing hes not playing on March 22nd.. Hawks will have an advantage.
