  1. Coach Bud didn't fully copy the system from San Antonio, he had to tweak his system for his players. Coach Bud might be a quiet guy, but he is really gifted and a talented coach. He really loves the game. When he was still with the Spurs, he was the only one who really knew the Spurs system than anybody in the organization. I think all over those years Bud being around Pop, he learned some things besides X's and O's, and made him a better coach.

  2. I believe that Atlanta Hawks have a high chance beating Cavs in the playoffs because Hawks play  really good team defense unlike Golden State Warriors they mostly rely on their high scoring offense. They couldn't stop Lebron, ,Kyrie and Love.

Hawks play team defense, and knows defense is really important if they want to beat teams like Cavs. Im sure coach Bud always preaches team defense to his team.

  3. Pero Antić has hit 2 shots in the last 7 games and people still like this guy!  Amazing!

Early this season before All Star break, he was playing great.  He was hitting consistent face up three pointers. I think he lost his rhythm, He just need to make few three pointers to get his rhythm back.

  4. Am i the only one who thinks this is going to be a good trade? lol

I watched gary neal when he was still  with the Spurs 2012-2013. His a 3 point dead eye shooter, and a floor spacer. He might not have a good looking career season stats in his current team probably because he didn't fit in the team system, or he doesn't like the team, or for whatever reason...  But this is definitely a good trade because Hawks system has  the same style as San antoino Spurs system, and Coach Bud knows gary neal very well. Gary neal is a team player, and he's not really good on 1 on 1 defense, but he can play team defense. He can also shoot mid range shots, and get some layups or floaters.

  5. I think Pero is not that bad. There will be times he's not shooting the ball well, but he can still contribute for the team by rebounding, setting screens for his teammates, and be a floor spacer. He has that size and big strong macedonian body.

Look at Scott, even though he usually force his shots, and sometimes make bad decisions, i still have confident in him that  he's going to make those shots because he's such a great shooter. Same with Pero, i still believe that he can make big time shots, because i've seen him do it before. The only thing Pero needs to improve on is consistency.

  6. I had faith that Hawks was going to win this game, but give Pelicans some credit for shooting the ball  really well, and getting all the calls from refs. (Not sure if they got paid by someone to make those BS calls.. but it's not the ref should be fully blamed, Hawks made some mistakes by rushing their shots and not using clock to move the ball and find open man or a better percentage shot).

Im also happy to see that they still competed hard even their offense was kinda sluggish, and their defense was about average but their overall effort was really good, I give them credit for that. Good decision by Coach bud by putting all the subs in 4th quarter in 5 minute mark. Clearly, he doesn't want to risk his starters to get injured.

It's a good thing that the streak is finally come to an end. You don't want to have that kind of mind set containing the streak rather than focusing and preparing how to win the next game.

Learn from this game, and move on to the next one! Stay humble and keep working hard!

  7. Congrats to Millsap, Horford and specially Jeff Teague ( i have a strong man crush on him, no homo) for making it in All Star reserve. I wish Korver was selected too, but i guess its fine, he's been already selected to compete for the three point contest.

They are finally getting recognition for their hardwork. Im really happy for them. They deserved it.

  8. You don't have to listen to Charles Barkley lol, he like to criticize teams but im sure the teams that he just criticized don't give a 100% F#ck about what he says about them.

Last year, he said Spurs is not going to make it in the finals, and even if Spurs do reach the finals, Heat will destroy them. Then he was wrong Spurs destroyed the heat and won the finals.

This is why sometimes i don't listen to any sports analysts. They just critize teams but those teams are working their @sses off just to get better and reach that next level.

  9. As much as Kawhi is blossoming, I think DMC is blossoming as well.   DMC-TAG will never get the credit that he deserves... he probably will be known as JYD instead of AA-Kyle Korver.  However, he's putting on a clinic in how to be a two way player and I hope it's not missed by the fanbase or the frontoffice.

DMC is a one of the reasons why hawks playing so well right now. He is a really tough player, really play hard on defensive end, he always have bring that energy on the team, he shoots 3's really well, and his a good cutter.

Pretty much every player in this team deserves credit because everyone is contributing, and have a special role in the team. They play together. Staff coaches should get credit too because they are big part of players development.

  10. If Spurs are healthy, and not missing any players due to injury. I would say the Spurs, they still have all the pieces to be a contender. Also, Kawhi is still blossoming, he's one the big reasons why Spurs made it to the NBA 2014 finals and won finals MVP.

Spurs don't have the best record right now in the West because they had too many injuries, Tim and Manu are really old (that's reality) so Pop always rest them in back to back games. But I believe Spurs still are dangerous team in this year playoffs if they are completely healthy and not missing any players.

Hawks are really playing great right now!  they have great team chemistry, play amazing team defense, players works really hard and put a lot of effort in every game, they play for each other, have a great coach, players bought in the system and to their coaches, they are just a TEAM, everyone is just working together, that's why they are ranked number one  in the East. I do really believe that Hawks is trying to aim for a championship just like any elite teams out there. They just don't talk about it in the media, but it shows the way they play.

  11. Why? Noah is hurt, Rose is still playing like crap, McBuckets is still out. They have zero shot at beating us if we play the way we normally play.

Every night is different. Bulls still have a chance to beat us, even if their missing a player or not playing well.

Hawks still need to compete hard, respect the Bulls, have the same winning mentality , carry the energy flow from tonights game to tommorows game and treat it like a playoff game.

Gotta Stay humble and respect every opponents!
