Why get westbrook? If Dennis already a starting point guard, which some of the squawkers here been waiting for so long. If Hawks get Westbrook, Dennis will be a backup pointguard again.. I dont think Westbrook is interested playing as a backup point guard. Also, if they decided to trade Dennis to get Westbrook, it could be a possibility but i still think it wont likely to happen

D12 is better rebounder than Al, but Hack- A-Dwight will be taken advantage of opposing teams..

You also have to worry about Dennis and Howard since their both head strong players.
It could get ugly this season.
What im worried about Dennis is that he likes to play way too aggressive that sometimes ending up in turnovers and always look to score first, instead of making plays for his teammates.
For Dwight, i worried about his free throws, opposing teams will take advantage of HACK-A-DWIGHT strategy in pressured moments.

I see Dwight as a negative impact guy in as a key option. Now as a 6th man, he's fine right now like Jamal Crawford but at this stage, he's not a key player, if you use him as such, you will pay a price. Is he talented? Yes. Can he put a better numbers than Al? Of course but he will he win? Hell naw. That's my problem with this. You took an top tier impact guy and replaced him with a washed up former star who is a shell of himself and you think that's gonna win games? How Sway?
Indeed. Vogel gets the most of our his personnel.
I like how you called Dwight a washed up former star which i kinda agree lol

I just can't bring myself to dislike the guy. He's too mild-mannered and square.

Dennis is the closest thing
Hate it or love it
i think Hawks can still be in one the top 4 in the east, but a contender? i don't think so, unless they prove me wrong.

Hawks making some big changes, Horf, and Teague are both gone, Dwight joining Hawks which really helps a lot because he is a strong rebounder, but i still worry about his free throws.. a.k.a HACK-A-DWIGHT
Every contending teams has a go to guy, and Hawks still doesn't have one, will Hawks ever planning to get one???

He literally stopped playing and left his teammates out to dry.
Yep..I remember seeing him having that blank stare, like his mind was wandering somewhere else instead focusing on the game..

I already kinda tell that Horf doesn't have that motivation anymore.. especially the way he played in the Cavs series, like he didn't care anymore..

I am so happy this happened. My favorite two Hawks are gone. Now I don't have any interest in this franchise which is not much different than it was when I moved to ATL in 2002. 14 years later and they are still lying to there fans. Bud has a system? Yeah right, we were a below .500 team in Bud's first year. The players are still the system. Ferry was already caught in his BS. Bud had a DUI right after signing with the Hawks. There was really a competition between Teague and Dennis for the PG position and Dennis won? That trade Teague for nothing worthy of noting in the draft was really smart? Volatile Dwight and Dennis. We really have a culture change? No, these guys are used car salesmen.
Hope Dennis can be a franchise player for the Hawks, i think he's the only one who hasn't played for other teams(NBA) except the Hawks

So it makes sense now why Horf was barely trying against the Cavs series..

Just giving some respect , why?

Heh, i knew Horf was not going to be a Hawk next season, good luck to him in Celtics
-
I knew Dwight could end up in Atlanta, he can help hawks with rebounding problems, good addition for the team but I still feel hawks still missing few pieces to be a contender team, a reliable scorer probably?? That you can rely on to score in big moments
-
I will miss Teague, good luck too him and wish him all the best, teaming up with superstar paul george, i think pacers fans are really excited for next season.
Dennis finally got the starting position, now who will they build around dennis?
-
Cavs in playoffs east is like walk in the park, they are really stacked with talent, and superstars.

Dennis is younger than Teague, Hawks might try to build around Dennis, i really dont want to see Teague go, but Hawks really need to trade for talent if they want to be a contending team. Also, honestly im tired seeing Bud keep switching Teague and Dennis back n forth in most 4th quarters, like he cant decide whos really to start. I know Bud really love his players just listening from his interviews, but Teague and Dennis can't really be in the same team because both of them are really good point guards, and too good to be a bench player. One of them have to go somewhere to be a starter in another team.

If Hawks decide to give main pg role to Dennis, i hope Teague goes to a really good team, i really like and respect teague a lot. He's humble, quiet, and one the most underrated pg in the nba.

@Spursfanpeacemaker What's next for your Spurs?
It was really disapointing for me that Spurs lost, OKC were just a better team, they were more athletic, killed us on boards, and they wanted it more. Next for the Spurs? I don't know what moves will they make this offseason, Tim Duncan probably gonna play one more year, im gonna be sad when he retires, really have a lot respect for him
