Lol. Antić is Hawks version of the Falcons Bierrman. No way they come out of the lineup. Antić is soo bad, that even Bud yanked him after the first quarter of that nonsense. Problem is, Antić SET THE TONE for the Wizards early dominance. By the time bud yanked him, it was over. Just the pure heart of the Hawks bench brought them back. Why Scott hasnt gotten more playing time has always striked me as strange also.

Even dumb Caliprari over at Kentucky likes the strategy of taking the last shot and CONTROLLING your destiny, instead of leaving it up to a over time period. BALLERS want the last shot, just like Pierce keeps proving over and over. Just the FACT Pierce was on the floor wouldve made me foul Washington. The Hawks bench came in and TOOK OVER the game, then, you let all that work go aside by letting Washington dictate the final play. Nope, i wouldnt have done that.

NO. You KEEP SHOCKING the Wizards by keeping the pressure on them to defend YOU. You give them FIVE more minutes to figure out what was going on and i dont like the Hawks chances. In this scenario, coaches DO take the strategy of fouling and bringing the ball down for the last shot. I rather THE HAWKS have the last possession, drive and kick out for the winning three, just like on the previous play. If Dennis drives, half the Wizards wouldve followed him, leaving either Scott or Moose wide open for the winning 3 attempt. Dumb strategy and Paul Pierce took advantage of it.

Lets be real here. Coach bud lost this game. He lost it two ways: 1. Continuing to not let Moose, Scott, Dennis and Mack start or get more playing time over Korver, Milsap and Antić. Yes, korver has been a scrub since the all star break and Sap proved he is not needed when Moose started at the 5 and Horford was allowed to move over to his natural 4 position. 2. On that last play, WHY would you play for overtime by not FOULING and putting Washington at the free throw line. No way we win that game if Washington is given five more minutes to figure out the onslaught that was Dennis, Moose and Scott. The correct call wouldve been to IMMEDIATELY foul Washington and let them make two at the free throw line. Who cares if they make two because the Hawks couldve chose between a quick drive to the basket by Dennis on the other end, OR, winding the clock down for a last minute 3 point shot by either Scott or Moose. DUMB strategy and i know we lost the game as soon as i saw they were not gonna foul....Just dumb.

Antić, korver, milsap, trade them scrubs and coach bud......... START MOOSE and DENNIS, bench milsap, slide horford over to the 4........ And another thing, i didnt like letting washington take the last shot without fouling and putting them at the line. Didnt like that strategy at all. I rather Washington make two free throws and we have the ball with a chance to win with a 3.

When Milsap was out with the shoulder injury, and bud let Moose start at center, and let Horford slide over to the 4, Moose got into a rhythm and played exceptionally well against the Nets. Why he chose to start Antić, and cause the Hawks to get off to a slow start and allow Nene to rediscover himself, is beyond me. Antić IS GARBAGE!!!! Im tired of people defending him because he is a big dude who supposedly can spread the floor. DUDE IS GARBAGE. He is taking up a roster spot ( Payne's), and im telling you, this is why Elton Brand wants out. No way Antić is suppose to get more minutes than ANYBODY coming off that Hawk bench.... Letting Horford slide over to his natural position would also allow him to dominate other power forwards, like he did against the Nets when allowed to play over there. Horford is getting ate up also in the low post against Gortot. Bud is sooo hard headed. It is what it is though.

Pero is the REASON i keep harping for another big. The Hawks are greasing the slide for him big time to get playing time. FIRST, they trade Adreian Payne to eliminate that competition, Next, they refuse to play a player ( moose), who is waaaay better than Antić, and lastly, Elton Brand wants to bolt to another team next year because HE SEES the crap thats going on with Antić and wants out..........

This IS a athletic team. Its WHO bud keeps playing that is questionable. I keep forgetting ( and his lack of playing time makes it easy to forget), how good moose is and how athletic he is when given playing time. Moose erases all my feelings toward trading anybody for another big man. Problem is, for some reason, the hawks value antics FAKE pumps from the 3 point line and non existent interior play, over moose's proven ability to be a more athletic piece that can be used in the paint........

Alright. I already know the Hawks are not one of the teams they like to market and want to go to the nba finals, and this scheduling of their playoff games bolsters my thinking on it. TNT even opens its pregame montages with the Wizards FIRST. You would think a number one seed that won sixty games would get the promo first. Next, game one against the Wizards was played the day after the Hawks were extended in the Nets series. Washington was well rested and there are many who felt this gave them a advantage in the second half of that game. Next, John Wall injures his hand and is questionable for games 2 and 3. Game 2 is already scheduled, so there was nothing to do but keep Wall out of that game. Now, game 3 is being played saturday, a full FOUR days later!! Is the NBA trying to help the Wizards by giving Wall extra days off??? I know, people may think all this is a reach, but how is it that the Cavaliers series, AND the Clippers Series, will BOTH have played TWO games between the time the Hawks and Wizards tip off game 3, when the Hawks series started BEFORE both those series??? Something dont smell right and its coming from the league office which is hoping that they have a Cleveland/Washington or Chicago/Washington conference finals.
