  1. Bud is NOT a game coach at all. WHERE IS SCOTT? WHERE IS MACK??? Korver getting max minutes and shouldnt be in there. ITS COACHING!!
  2. How Antić let a guard block his layup???????? LMAO..........
  3. BENCH KORVER!!!! Put Mack in as two guard............
  4. I got a feeling we gonna dismantle Washington tonight.
  5. The media and the NBA CREATES interest in what people want to see. The average consumer has the thinking capacity of a rock, thus, the dumb downed sheeple obviously would want the latest episode of the soap opera coming from the lebron james story, vs a story about a team that the NBA and media PURPOSELY doesnt give the same exposure.
  6. I agree. Korver has been garbage every since he lost the allstar 3 point contest.........lol Seriously though, dude needs to be benched, right along with Antić...........At this point, BOTH Mack and Moose should be taking minutes from Korver and Antić.........
  7. You guys over analyzying Coach Bud. Going waaay in depth when its not necessary. The MOMENT you see Pero Antić step foot on the floor, Bud has been outcoached................lmao
  8. Good win. They played aggressive and took control. My only question is: Why didnt Scott Play?? Why is Pero getting minutes and not Scott???
  9. Everybody came to play except Korver. ( starters) Antić STILL getting too many minutes. Moose getting playing time.
  10. Milsap/Horford front court is and needs to be broken up. I would dangle Sap as sign and trade bait. Whoever the Hawks bring in needs to be a TRUE CENTER. Slide Horford over to the 4 and go after Brook Lopez or Mark Gasol. Upgrade Moose into the rotation as the first big off the bench: B. Lopez/Gasol Moose Horford/ Scott
  11. As bad as the starters have played, yes, they can still win this series. It starts with bud giving the bench more playing time.
  12. Ive said a thousand times on this forum that Horford/Moose should be the starting front court. Scott, as much as i love him, i like his energy and shooting off the bench. Give Milsap a shot at small forward, seriously, with Carroll and Dennis in the backcourt like you have it: pg dennis sg carroll sm milsap pf horford c moose bench rotation: korver teague scott brand anybody but pero anybody but pero anybody but pero t
  13. As soon as Korver was named a allstar, his game went south. We still need him though. If we had a true big that could score, and force teams to respect the paint when we have the ball, Korver's game would open back up.
  14. I keep harping on that also, but whats REALLY strange is Moose, every time he gets extended playing time, makes me think he COULD be that guy for the Hawks. Not soo much as his defense, but his rebounding, athleticsm and movement around the basket. Honestly, i think he possibly could be the best post player the Hawks have. Whatever they do, i dont wanna see a Milsap/Horford front line trotted out there again, and im thinking Bud is thinking the same thing.
  15. Phillips arena next year if they dont come back and beat the Wizards................
  16. Milsap is OUT of here. Im telling you, the Milsap/Horford front court undersized experiment is over. Bud has a FULL year now of watching BOTH Milsap and Horford get ate up inside. I saw one play where Gortot just dominated Horford for a easy 5 foot shot at the front of the rim. Coach Bud almost lost it. He is NOT used to seeing Duncan get ate up like that. The Hawks WILL get a defending big into that lineup.
  17. I just said this same thing in another thread. The Hawks proved it was PLAYERS who won those chips out in San Antonio,NOT the system. People keep laughing when i mention Dwight Howard's name, but tell me this: WHY is Memphis giving Golden State suc a hard time?? THEIR BIGS do what BIGS DO............
  18. What the Hawks proved is that the Spurs have the best SYSTEM, but it was STILL players who won those championships for the Spurs. The Hawks need some PLAYERS that can rebound, disrupt on defense in the paint, and score IN THE PAINT to balance their offense. Things that Duncan can do for the Spurs........
  19. Eat into Antić's minutes?????? Surely you jest................lmao
  20. Like ive said before, Moose PROVED that the Hawks dont need Milsap, who WAS my favorite Hawk at one time. Its not that Milsap is a bad player, its just that he, along with Horford, are too easily dominated in the paint because of their size. Im not gonna waste time talking about Pero anymore. I know bud is gonna break up this Milsap/Horford front court during the offseason. Guarantee it. The question is, which way are the Hawks gonna go to do it? Sign and trade Milsap? Bring Tavares over? Try and trade for another big? Me, i would let Milsap walk if i cant sign and trade him. Let Pero walk if i cant trade him. If nobody bites on Milsap, free up some cap space. Let Moose START at the 5, slide Horford over to his natural 4 position, develop a big thru the draft, and bring Tavares over and give him a chance to come off the bench also.
  21. I see Memphis out there giving Golden State a hard time because they got a FRONT COURT that can dominate, unlike the Hawks....... Anthony Davis dominated the Hawks the last time the Hawks played New Orleans. Memphis bigs dominated the Hawks the last time they played. Lopez running wild up in Brooklyn, Gortat looking like Patrick Ewing mixed with Tim Duncan today. Horford and Milsap are both too small for their positions. Even Bud knows that and i GUARANTEE you they gonna look to break up this Horford, Milsap front court. Its coming, even if it means giving Tavares a shot at making the roster next year.
  22. The FEEL is why bud let his bench STAY in the game after they brought the Hawks back. The FEEL shouldve let the bench take the last shot. Paul Pierce and the Wizards were very happy they got to take that last shot after being shell shocked by the Hawks bench.
  23. This is about the FEEL of the game. Thats what a head coach, ESPECIALLY in basketball, is suppose to have. Bud letting his bench STAY in the game was the right move, THEN, he went back to his starters by bringing Korver non shooting self back into the game, then, compounded it by not throwing conventional strategy aside and letting his BENCH take the last shot. I wouldnt have cared if Washington made both free throws. The feel of the game is you want your bench, which has SHOCKED the Wizards at the other end, to have the last shot with a 3 point attempt. The hawks bench earned that. No one wouldve questioned bud doing that.
