  1. Why would Memphis get rid of Swift? For Nazr? And Battier?
  2. Hey Guys, I'm looking for a Yahoo Fantasy League where all the teams stay active no matter how bad they get beat down. Any openings?
  3. Speaking from a fantasy league perspective, I'd rank JT, Crawford and Nicky a lot higher bc they hit all the categories you need out of your PG, assist, 3s, and points.
  4. KB, I My daughters were also preemies. No matter what the doctors say, God has the last word. "There's a blessing in the storm."
  5. While I would not call Theo the best center in even the Eastern Conference (Mournings back, Wallace is a monster), I think he would probably rank in the top ten when healthy. Offense I am hoping he can get back to averaging double figures as he did when with Philly. He shoots a decent percent (Career 50%). Maybe he needs a few more plays run his way. Defense I think you are off base on the defense comment. The guy lead the lead in blocks. Boards While some might say that GRob impacted his boards last year, I would love to see him get more boards. Here's what Mike Khan had to say about him as he ranked him the 8th center in the nba: "8. Theo Ratliff, Atlanta Hawks: Before breaking his wrist in Philadelphia, getting traded to the Hawks, and injuring his hip and abdomen, he was one of the top young big men in the game. Now, he's still a good defender/shot-blocker, but hasn't improved as a rebounder or a scorer. He should be stronger this year. " No he isn't perfect, but he could start on most teams in the NBA including many of last years playoff teams.
  6. The owners don't seem too positive about what we can do in Free Agency. Desired players may demand too much money. Looks like Billy is just going to have to dig deep and find some unrealized talent. The rockets have quite a few free agents that were expected to do well in the NBA, but that seem to have not received a lot of playing time behind Franchis, Mobley, Rice and Griffin. What about a Jauquin Hawkins who earned playing time last year because of his defense, or Terrence Morris whom Atlanta actually drafted and traded and has proven to be a decent player when given pt? I am sure they would come cheap and could make valuable contributions.

I haven't seen Hubert Davis really have a chance to play since he was in Dallas. He is a deadly outside shooter, could play either G, but I don't know about the 3. How did he play last year in Detwa?

Hey All. New member here and I am starved for Hawk's news. I can't help but hope that the Hawks can put out a winning season, but I am a little leary of the available free agents. While Stephen Jackson may prove to be a good NBA player, I do not think one season playing off Tim Duncan establishes him as a go to guy demanding go to money. At shooting guard, I think that Glover might be just as good as anyone else out there. And he's a known commodity. Anyone know if the Hawks are going to pursue re-signing him? Who else might be able to help the team?
