I just read an article (Actually, I think it was right here on Hawskquawk!) that gave me the impression that there is a very good chance that Tavares will be signing a contract with one of the European teams and if he does this article made it sound like not only would he not be coming to the NBA anytime soon but the Hawks could (Would?) lose their rights to him! Hopefully, I read this article WRONG! I would hate to see the Hawks lose his rights!!!

I just watched some highlights of Agravanis and i have to admit that I was pretty impressed with this guy! I know these are just highlights and he was not playing in the NBA but at least it gives me some hope that he might eventually be able to make the Hawks roster and contribute sometime in the future! It looks like he has good size, moves really well for his size, has a good shot, rebounds well, handles the ball pretty well, seems to play with some toughness, etc.

I know this is WISHFUL thinking but are there any comparisons between Marcus Eriksson and Manu GinobiliL? Seems like they are roughly the same size (Although, I am guessing Eriksson is a little lighter than Ginobili) and they can both shoot very well but what about their Ball Handling, Defense, Basketball IQ, Passing, etc? I keep telling myself that is why Coach Bud drafted Eriksson so he can be his Spurs version of Ginobili for the Hawks. And, just how long (If, ever) do you think it will be before Eriksson makes the Hawks roster?

I am just curious what is real height is. I have seen him listed anywhere from 6'3" to 6'7". I can see an inch difference but 4 inches seems to be a little bit of a stretch.

If this was the NFL I would be thrilled to have all those 2nd Round picks! NBA - Not so much!

I am certainly not an NBA Draft expert but the Hawks draft tonight certainly left me scratching my head! I figured the Hawks would give me some surprises but I just didn't count on quite this much! I will have to confess that I did a lousy job on my mock Draft picks for the Hawks!!! Just curious - Do any other Hawks fans feel good about tonight's transactions by the Hawks? I would love to read them so I can start feeling better! I hope I don't offend anyone but I still wish Danny Ferry was the Hawks GM!!!

Can anyone tell me what 2nd Round picks the Hawks received in tonight's trade? And, were those picks in this year's Draft or will the Hawks receive them in the future?

The Hawks draft was even stranger than I expected! Hopefully, there is a method to their madness!

Well, the NBA Draft is finally here! Just curious on what we can expect (Other than the Unexpected!) from the Hawks tonight. Do you think there is more of a chance of the Hawks trading up or down (Or, will they stay put) in this Draft? The one move I am hoping NOT to hear tonight is that the Hawks have sold their pick for cash considerations!

According to the AJC the there are 9 players (Towns, Okafor, Porzingis, Russell, Winslow, Johnson, Cauley-Stein, Hezonja and Mudiay) who are considered the top of this draft class so they more than likely will not be available when the Hawks pick at #15 (If they don't trade up!). And, also according to the AJC the next-level players include Devin Booker, Sam Dekker, Jerian Grant, R.J. Hunter, Tyus Jones, Frank Kaminsky, Trey Lyles, Kelly Oubre, Bobby Portis, Myles Turner and Deion Wright. Just curious if you can give me your top 6 choices (If the AJC is correct with their top 9 players then one of the 6 players you list will be available for the Hawks at #15) for the Hawks upcoming Draft assuming they don't make a trade. I know very little about these players but from the LITTLE I do know or read my list would be as follows: 1) Frank Kaminski 2) Myles Turner 3) Kelly Oubre 4) Myles Turner 5) Bobby Portis 6) Devin Booker I am looking forward to seeing how other Hawks fans (Who know a LOT more about these Prospects than I do!) rate their top choices for the Hawks selection!

Maybe, I am just overly optimistic but it seems like the Hawks have made a lot of positive changes lately which I would personally think could attract some quality FA's?!

Diesel - I agree that it is possible! If the Hawks can pull the upset tonight and hopefully get some of the momentum back then this series should get interesting! It will also be interesting to see if Coach Bud can get his Hawks confident and ready to play tonight! The Hawks have a lot of adversity to overcome to win this series but they ARE good enough to do it!
