  1. OKC isn't a good example because they have two MPV candidates on their team and they're young. As long as they have Durant and Westbrook, their window stays wide the heck opened. With their talent, it's not a stretch to say they can make it back to Finals. Especially if Donovon is an improvement.
  2. Yeah, it was Carroll. The rest of the "All Stars" had their ups and downs. Consistency in the starting five wasn't there for the entirety of Atlanta's playoff run.
  3. For a starless approach to work, your entire starting five has to play great against elite teams for 7 games. The bench has to be good as well. I have a hard time believing this organization can pull that off. It's incredibly hard to do.
  4. It's crazy to think that after a 60 win season, I'm seriously questioning if it's smart to bring everybody back. This has been a weird season all around.
  5. I think you mean two. The Warriors tanked in 2012 and ended up with Barnes at #7( and Green and Ezeli in the second round). The Cavs tanking history is obvious. The pretty telling thing to me is how far Atlanta got without the talent level of the other remaining teams. Bud got more out of this team than most coaches would.
  6. The Warriors show you can find talent without having to pick in the top five every year. You just have to have a GM that knows what he's doing. The player development has to be there also. The scariest thing about the Warriors is that none of their core pieces outside of maybe Bogut has peaked. The rest of their core (Curry, Thompson, Barnes, and Green) are young and still growing. That's just crazy to me.
  7. Given the fact that ATL is about to be swept without Irving and Love needing to contribute 15 points a game should say everything. We need more talent. This shouldn't be an option or really an opinion anymore. We should be punishing Cleveland because Irving isn't contributing. You think that would fly against Golden State? Nah. If Irving isn't 90%, they won't have a chance at beating them. Given the inconsistency of our All Stars outside of Carroll and our lack of bench play, something needs to be done. This team needs to have one goal in the offseason. Add talent, because guess what? Golden State, Cleveland and OKC aren't going anywhere. Teams with true elite talent The east is not going to be this bad next season. Indy and Miami should be healthier and the other squads (like the Bulls) aren't going to remain stagnant. The Hawks can't rest on their laurels. Especially given their playoff showing.
  8. We need a wing player in the worst way. I'd be pissed if they took another Power Forward.
  9. This team has been getting killed defensively and you want him to go? Unless they can find someone else in free agency, he shouldn't go anywhere.
