Thats what I also think, DJ is the darkhorse. He will be a starter now and depending on what he does then the hawks will succeed even more. We all know what Reef, JT, Theo, Ira, and the others bring to the table. What we dont know is what DJ is gonna do this year, but I do expect him to have a very good season.

Great post KB. Thats very true, JT brings a great attitude to this team and who else better than JT, the true leader and captain of this team. People have questioned JT of not being able to handle the PG spot, but damn I'll take JT over any PG in this league except for Jason Kidd. Sorry but this is my opinion. Because of the courts he is amazing and he is just an amazing individual. But not only JT, the other players have that same winning attitude, all they want is to win and that is great to have a team with no cancer type of players. I seriously doubt now that the Hawks will stay out of the playoffs this upcoming season.

JT as of now is not a max player, but he can be a max player after this season, we just have to see what he does this season as the fulltime PG. IMO I think Jt will have an allstar year, it all depends how good ar ethe Hawks when February comes around, if the Hawks have a better rec. than Hornets, Cavs (more likely they will), and Nets........JT imo should be an allstar. We all know he can score now the question is, If he can get his teammates involved? he proved it last year that he can. I'm behind JT 100%.

Someone on here mentioned that Leon Smith was not attending the workouts that were suppose to be for him. Does anyone here know for sure whats going on with Leon? Jaywalker? Would he be signed or is he already signed?

I actually like Hanno, the bad thing about him is that he is very soft. Babcock stated in yesterday's "ask the GM" if there isn't any trades then probably Hanno wont be sign. I really like Hanno the guy hits shots left and right when wide open 15-18 jumpers the bad wrap on him is that he is soft on defense. There has been games though that I have seen him play hard and tough and if the Hawks dont make any trades he will be unemployed, but someone will pick him up for cheap. In reality, I will like to keep him. Very good 15-18 shooter.

According to ESPN Jason Terry is still our starting PG. When something like this is said by ESPN then is probably true. ESPN - The 6-2 Terry was Atlanta's second-leading scorer at 19.3 points per game, even after moving to point guard for the second half of the season. He probably will stay there next season, though the Hawks plan on teaming him with Dickau for short stints when the team needs a burst of offense. Damn I coulnt agree anymore with ARR, great points ARR. Dickau was barely a first round pick and I doubt he will be even close to what JT is now, there is no way in hell JT will be traded, a proven guy for 3 years for a guy that hasnt even played in one NBA game. College games and NBA games are 100% different. No way a guy that was drafted 28th and slipped so much that supposedly he was the best PG according to almost everyone on here will be take JT's job, again I state a proven player in this league and slowly becoming an allstar PG in this league. It will only take another season for JT as a starting PG to put him in the same sentence with Kidd, A. Miller, B. Davis etc...

NO way will Battier be a 20-25 ppg player, he will never avg that much, most he will is like 17 ppg. Two things will happen with Dan Dickau, he will either be our back pg off the bench or he will be trade bait to pick up that small forward/shooting guard that the hawks want.

Hello guys, my take on this aquisition of Dan Dickau: A couple of things I believe will happen with aquiring Dan. He will be playing as a backup PG, he will not be starting, but he will definitely see a good amount of playing time, he will be backing up JT. Babcock is not about to mess up the chemistry this team had and at the same time guaranteeing playoffs next season which will return money to the season ticket holders. Also expect seeing sometimes the combo of JT and Dan at the same time, the same way we saw JV and jT at the times last season. This is one of m point of views of this aquisition. My other point of view is that Dan Dickau was picked up because his stcok is starting to rise and may be use to pickup a small forward in this league that has established himself into scoring 17-20 ppg. Dan Dickau might be used in trade bait for a team in desperate need of a PG and willing to give up their small forward/shooting guard. Babcock has expressed time after time that he loves JT and JT is the PG of this team. Hawks need JT on the floor at all times and he will be stupid enough to trade JT an establish 19 ppg and 5.5 apg player in this league just so Dickau would be the PG and hasnt even played one NBA game. JT will NOT be traded ! JV will not be a hawk and email might even be waived and haws will have to eat his contract.

Exactly, they better start writing up thos $ 125.00 check to each single season ticket holders, because if they start chaing [censored] up, this team aint going nowhere this year nor next. Really guys whats wrong, with this lineup: JT - pg, unstoppable, not many pg can stop and not even containe him for most part, he can shoot on anyone and everyone and can blow right past anyone in this league. Also, has become one of the leagues best clutch players. DJ - sg, was just starting to develop, he really can defend and can stay with any 2 guard in this league, starting next season will really raise up his confidence, and 2 things he is lacking right now are a mid range game - taking it to the hoop and pulling up for short jumpers and 2nd thing is CONFIDENCE. Ira - sf, the hardest worker in this team and top in the league, he gets in there and mixest it up with the big boys, will get you 9-10 ppg, 6 rpg and really shutting down the 2 guards and 3's of the other teams. One damn hard nose player, no backing down from this guy. Reef - pf, best powerforward in the East, mr. consistency and can score and board with the best of them. Everyone on here knows what he can do and does it god damn quite good. Theo - c, best shot blocker in basketball when healthy, can also score 12-13 ppg and rebound, great weak side help defender and he is what the hawks need and we got. Supposedly he is healthy, now we just have to wait and see. Truly I dont see anything wrong with this starting unit and messing up this core would really put us in the cellar once again. I like this lineup and I think with this lineup together again can really do something special this year, if they change it up again and move JT to the 2, there goes another wasted year.

All they watch is Lakers, Kings and Mavs games. I believe Jason Terry will shine when the spotlight is on him, he will soon be the talk of the league when the spotlight is on him, JT is a great basketball player and there is no PG in the draft that is better than he is nor would they be better. Nobody ever spoke about Bibby, why? because the Grizz werent a winning team, now he went to the kIngs and he was the talk around the league and he is even being compared to being one the leagues best PG's. I think that Bibby and JT are very equal in their game, both are scoring PG's and very similar the way they run their team. JT will shine come playoff time, they are very few players in this league that can contain JT, just contain him, let alone stopping him, not 1 I think. When the Hawks make the playoffs this year or even before that, when they start seeing the hawks winning, it will be like deja-vu with Bibby, everyone will be talking about JT

I really feel DJ is gonna have a real breakout season next year. The kid has really become a three point threat other than JT and he has also become a defense stopper. All these attributes will help him next season, best thing about it he can only get better. We all know he can shoot those 3's and play sticky glue D, now DJ has to work in his in between game a bit more to become that 3rd scoring option. Last year he was starting to drive the ball to the hole at the end of the season and I feel that is something else he needs to work on this offseason. I feel dj can become our 3rd scoring option and a good one. Prediction: 13.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 1.5 spg, 1.2 bpg Thats one heck of an improvement if there is one.
