Believe it or not..Smith picked up a lot of things from finally being around a quality left handed player in Harden..Towards the end of the year he began to look much craftier with the basketball which prolly came from his time in the gym with James.. if anyone was garbage it was Joe..We paid him 20 mil and he didn't elevate Marvin or Josh game..they were basically the same player year in and year out..

Cleveland love their hometown hero..Atliens let people like Barkley trick them into hating theirs..All those big jumpers that boy hit for us and the fans let Kenny and Chuck trick them into booing the guy every time he shot.. Kenny and Chuck sit right there in Atlanta and have zero knowledge of the team.. Josh probably would have hit a few more jumpers with fan support.. That J that everyone is hating on was falling like rain with Houston.. Guess the Squawkers didn't see how that boy showed heart and turned that clipper series around with Houston with them 20 big points in that playoff game or how he threw like five straight lobs to Dwight.. I hope he stays there and continue to do well..They say the improvement with his J comes from Kevin McHale having him make 300 jumpers everyday after practice... I'm such a Hawks fan that I supported Woodson and Drew..but the truth is they weren't very good coaches..Look how broke Sefalosha and Bazemore jumpers were when we got them..If Bud could fix them I would love to see how he could build on what McHale has started with Josh..

We need to put our pride to the side and obtain this guy if the room exemption could get it done..this guy is one of the few players who has career averages of 1bpg and 1spg..and after watching that imposter Demarre Carroll get pushed around by Lebron, Josh Girth and versatility is much needed..

The difference between the Hawks and Detroit is that Monroe and Drummond couldn't stretch the floor like Sap and Horford..They clogged the paint and forced Josh to be primarily a perimeter shooter..During his successful tenure with the Hawks he did a lot of damage on the block but had a lot of people scratching there head because he would stray away from the post and settle for the J..but he isn't that far removed from being a 17 ppg player.. Josh would work with us because the spacing would be great.. Tbh Sap and Horford aren't as effective as Josh on the block..Sap has smaller guys on him at times and settles for the step back jumper..Horford loves the high post more than the block..but on another note Sap is a guy that teams just can't sag off of from the 3 point line because he can consistently make 3s.. Horford who is one of the best mid range shooters big or small in the league could play the high post. The spacing would be great..I hope Budcox show some brilliance and bring my boy Smoove back..I appreciate what he did for us over the years.. He could be the missing piece to a championship..Put that boy back in 5 I wasn't a fan of that defector Demarre wearing that number anyway..

The league gone boycott paying him twice..you can pretty much guarantee he won't..Rashad Lewis, Aundray Blatche and other players who have been amnestied are examples of why he won't get above minimum or slightly above..

I love the shot blocking,I love the rebounding, I love the versatility to switch on the pick and roll..I love his passing ability.. I love his competitive edge..I jus hate to see how the work that man put in to help get us to the playoffs 6 consecutive seasons is discredited.. The only thing I didn't like about Josh was his inconsistent jump shot and the idea of paying him a max contract of 20 mil a season..but again for the min..his intangibles are well worth it..

Well Joe is available for 25 mil this year.. we are discussing clearance items not over paid players and there isn't a person in the world who could tell me josh isn't worth 4 and Brandon Wright is getting 6 and garbage ass Amir Johnson getting 12 a season..smh

Josh was a valuable high character guy during his time in Atlanta. We jus chose to go with a better bargain in a cheaper more efficient player in Millsap..However we could steal Josh from Houston with a good 4 million dollar offer..The assists steals and blocks are alone worth that.. When he is playing horrible we can insert moose or Scott for better shooting from 3 and the line..We need to add D with the loss of Carroll..

Wasted 8 million on a backup center who can't make free throws or block shots..then the cap space that we loose and I guess no Walter Taveres..smh

Aldridge had us on his list of teams and we show zero interest and help the f***ing spurs by trading for this bum ass center!! I would rather have Josh Smith..

Actually I wouldn't Atlanta is a better city than San Antonio.. And a nucleus of Teague and Horford is better than 39 yr old Duncan and declining Tony Parker...Oan Aldridge and Leonard wont be enough in the future to compete out west..

The hawks may have pushed for the surgery in order to soften the blow of moving All Star Kyle Korver to a better suited 6th man spot..this is a blessing in disguise now the younger players will have every opportunity to win the starting Sg spot..

Bud is just being diplomatic and we are goin to low ball Carroll and Sap initially to see if we can get Aldridge.. No way the new owner isn't interested in acquiring a talent like Lamarcus Aldridge..
