I think that with Schröder getting in trouble it killed his privilege to have a buddy on the team..so that hurt John.. The hawks Owner say that the team is willing to take a small step back to take a huge step forward..So this kinda play in Schlenk vision of signing and developing Dorsey on a 2yr guaranteed contract... The hawks desperately want back in the lottery..they jus wanna win about 35 ball games and miss the playoffs..but if 35 gets us in they wouldn't be too upset..Which is cool..but it was obvious to me that Jenkins is better than Dorsey.. Dorsey has potiental though..He is more athletic and taller than John but isnt halfway the pure shooter..But haters are going to say "well Jenkins went 1-4 in the last preseason game with us" But anyone who knows basketball knows Johnny Cash is an NBA player.. He just been caught up in a numbers game..The hawks are fully invested in Bazemore, Bembry, Marco, and Dorsey.. Maybe the Hawks can develop Dorsey into a 45% fg, 40% 3pt guy..But right now his offense is erratic and his defense completely sucks..Every now and then he will show some flashes and on top of that he is young and cheap..He does look a lot better than this summer which isn't saying very much..

Your post is misleading its like u make it seem like those were the only games where john was productive and efficient.. Year 2 with Hawks he was out with a back injury and last year with Phoenix shouldn't be an indictment due to Devin Booker and their youth movement and over stock in guards with Bledsoe, Knight, Booker and others.. The year with the Mavs John averaged 24ppg in the preseason and due to money and politics he never got a chance..His last season wit the Hawks Bud was playing guys like Kent and Carroll who were the new toys the regime brought in to develop but when he did give John a chance he shined...its all here on the link even the game wit the 10 pts in like 10 minutes..I saw some in this kid but I guess Bud didnt..smh But I dam sho know he is better than a 2 way contract player in Tyler Dorsey who barely scored a bucket in summer league! Or sorry ass Luke Babbit! If there so hell bent on keeping Dorsey we can dump Babbitt and Keep Brussino as the stretch 4 wit no defense..We need John man! When Johnny Cash was given minutes on the Hawks he produce..Keep in mind we had Korver and Teague.. But no way in hell Tyler Dorsey supposed to make the team over John..When John went to the D league he produced..that man is a legit sniper and efficient.. Tyler Dorsey, Cook or Brussino.. Somebody has to go!! Tbh John is a better player than Marco Bellineli if given greenlight and same minutes!

The Hawks would be crazy as hell if they didnt cut someone and sign John Jenkins for the season!!! He was close to breaking out when Bud first tried to develop him but the Hawks traded and opted to go with the bigger guard in Hardaway.. John can fill it up from all three levels though! 3's, Midrange, and in the paint with floaters and layups.. I know y'all hadn't forgot how this man would come into games and score like 10 pts in 10 minutes for the Hawks.. He's a hard worker and a cerebral player..He doesn't force things he make the right passes and let the game come to him.. The league havent given this man a fair shake..smh.. He averaged 24 his first preseason wit the Mavs and still never got a chance.. He is only 26 yrs old and was drafted by us.. I got alot of love for him and desperately want him back on the squad!!

Kent Bazemore need to have his ass in a gym working out! His horrible contract is why we lost Tim Hardaway Jr!!

If Bazemore concentrates more on being a scrapper/garbage man he can be more productive..We need him to get steals and layups, run the floor hard and finish on the break..Get some backdoor cuts like Carroll used to instead of primarily hovering around the 3 point line..

I got to agree with Diesel..Bazemore has All star Potential.. If we get peak performance out of him, which would be about 17 ppg, 5reb, 3 asts, 45% fg, 37% 3pt, 2stls, 1 bpg.. I think in a bigger role Baze could reach those targets...His shot has potential and he got a few moves off the dribble..The biggest thing with him is ball security and passing..If he limits the bad passes and being stripped on his drives he can be a good 2 way starter.. I like him better than Demarre Carroll I tell u..Carroll is so feeble against the likes of Lebron and Melo..Baze does make those guys work hard at 6'5.. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Shooting Guards this year..

Dedmon is trash..His signing should make Dennis Schröder happy..He gets another stiff who won't complain about post touches or getting the ball off the pick and roll..Y'all callin this dude a rim protector and he has never averaged 1 bpg..smh Flexibility how?? 2 years of 6pts and 5 rebounds.. Dedmon just got away with highway robbery.. He should opt into year 2 immediately with those pedestrian nimbers.. Smh

Wit the Renovations of Phillips, the Emory Training facility, I think they won't go too many years without a quality product.. We jus been so spoiled over the last decade with the winning that we jus got to tuff it out..Cowboys, 49ers, Lakers, Sixers a lot of marquee franchise have done it..

I love Tim but the Hawks Screwed up playing hardball with him..The way the market was unfolding Tim prolly coulda been had on a 3 yr 45 million dollar deal..The Hawks were cheap trying to get him for 10 or 11 a year and the Knicks swooped in and righted a wrong.. Tim Trajectory is up I think he learned alot from Bud and he will be an 18 ppg scorer moving forward..smh But on the bright side 2018 has a strong Free Agent class.. So we might be a landing spot for the Banana boat crew in 18..Even though CP, Wade and Lebron are old and past their prime..lol PS Ressler Nem could at least take a flyer on Derrick Rose for us.. He can't guard a chair but might form a dynamic mini backcourt with Schröder.. We should sign Derrick Rose to a 1 yr 15 mil deal and tank excitingly starting him at the 2.. Bud could squeeze 30 games with basically anybody..

Schlenk is a dumb GM if we buy Crawford out we basically would be paying 7 million for a low first round pick..If we held on to Crawford and gave him big minutes to drive his value up we could reflip him at the deadline for another 1st round pick..
